There has to be a reason behind this, but I can't tell if it's bad for season 8 or good. If GG's done for sure, why would they care about if GG gets high sweeps ratings? And moving it closer to upfronts allows them more time to decide if it's series or season finale. It could just mean that they want to keep the VM lead in right up until it's finale the next week.

I think, you're right. It could mean, GG as a show is still important for the ratings, and CW is still struggling for its position on the market, so they need the next season... But who knows?

OT: Does anyone want a toddler? She's really cute! Okay, so she's potty training and she keeps having accidents and she put an orange crayon in the washer and possibly ruined her bedding and her sister's Easter dress, but she's really cute! I swear!

I wonder if Lorelai will take the name Danes when they marry. Notice she did not change her name to Hayden after her marriage to Chris. Nor does Rory have Chris' name even though everyone knows he is Rory's dad. Very telling IMO

I think she will become Lorelai Danes. I like the way it sounds!

Ha! I just take care of her, so her mom might have a problem with me giving her away or trading her, but I'm so ready to do either one right now. lol. I can't wait till this stage is over!

My dad sat in on a few minutes of GG with my sister and I a few months ago and asked why Rory's last name was Gilmore. If a child is had out of wedlock, what last name is he or she supposed to take? I know it sounds like a stupid question, but I honestly don't know?

I love the name Danes. It's so pleasant.
