Morning guys

Ah the LC saga Well they used each other and didn't care about the rest of the world. She wanted to get back at Luke and he just wanted to get her. Pathetic relationship with an even more pathetic ending.

Good morning everybody!

So they switched the dates again? Now it's the 17th instead of the 10th.... I guess they like to change their minds this season.

But yeah well... I won't get upset after yesterday, because something really funny happened, at least I think so, my dad doesn't.

I went to the doctor to get my immunization. But when the doctor heard me talk he refused and examined me instead. Turns out I don't have "just cold", but I have asthma and now I have a referral to specialist.
I guess I am the only person who wents to get an immunization and comes out witzh a referral because of asthma...

Sorry for the OT-ness, but I still find this hilarious.

I wish AB would just make it official already. As morbid as it sounds, it starting to feel like I'm watching this really sick person on her deathbed to die so I can get some closure. I know very morbid.

OT - so VM is having a double ep the week after GG ends, so will they air any GG on The CW once the final airs?

Tazz, I had the same thought.

Craig, they'll probably finish airing the repeats so season 7 can go into syndication with the rest. Who knows if the CW will air summer reruns like the WB used to? I haven't watched a rerun in so long, well over a year ... don't even tape them any more.

When it ends, I'll be missing what could have been, not what was.

Thanks caf I know some shows here just disappear when the end comes and we don't have the re-run requirement, that I know of.

It will be sad but I guess it will play in syndication for years to come and we will have it on DVD forever.

I'm still betting AB has made it clear she's not coming back but the network/studio just don't want to make an official announcement yet - maybe they want to avoid the whole ferris wheel showing up at someone's door thing....who knows but I'd be shocked to learn they don't already know the fate of the show.

I don't buy it either. They have to know by now in fact I even think they knew for while now.

Oh, I think they have known for quite a while as well. Maybe they want to keep the question about whether it is coming back or not out there until the upfronts and after the finale airs to keep people interested - who knows....maybe also to avoid hyper critical reviews, etc. about whether finale does the ending of the show justice - whatever the reason, I think they know and people involved in the show are actively pursuing work elsewhere for the future - as MM has done.

I just really hope SP doesn't wind up in some idiotic crime/procedural dreck. Didn't we hear from somewhere that he was being courted by a showrunner of a current show? Maybe with a little luck he'll end up on something on HBO....yum.

I don't know, if I was AB and I was the only one whose decision made the clear cut answer to whether or not a show would continue, I don't know that I could go against everyone else and decide that I didn't want to continue, thus ending everyone elses job too. It just seems like a...and I hate this word, but it's early...selfish thing to do. I can understand where she is coming from with wanting to move on, really I can, but I also don't think one more season is going to be the death of her, especially if they cut her hours/days/episodes down. It would seem that they could probably come to a reasonable compromise that would make everyone happy. Obviously fans, some of the cast, and the network aren't ready to say goodbye yet. And none of these people are asking for more than one season out of AB (and not even a full season at that). Why not just reach an easy compromise, continue for one more season knowing it'll be the last, and then go happily on your merry way at the end knowing you pleased your fanbase and knowing the show had proper closure and send off?

I guess I just don't think AB is being selfish - she wants to move on and has made that clear for a long time - I don't understand why people are surprised since she has made no secret that she is tired. She has honored her contract, never promised to come back and, well, it is her life. Everyone involved in the show knew the girls' contracts were up this year and likely not to be renewed. Personally, I just don't blame her for not wanting to live her life to everyone else's liking.

I mean, even if they did another year, all those folks would be seeking jobs again next year at this time - It's not as though they didn't have prior warning that this was likely the end.

capp are you a Rachel/Luke shipper now

I think that they must know whether they are coming back or not. They just like to have some rumors going on about them.

I don't think anyone's blaming her for not wanting to continue, and obviously no one is surprised that she doesn't want to do another season, it's the fact that it's taking so long for her to just say 'that's it.' and make a final decision already.

Well, we don't know that she is taking so long - she may have already said it, they know it and just don't want to release official word - for whatever reason. All we know is rumors - so, until they release official word, I'm not going to assume anything about what AB has or has not said....I just wish they would announce it already.

Though for most of the more general viewers, this issue is probably a non-issue and likely a lot of people aren't really paying attention to this stuff - I know I don't about shows I watch but am not so emotionally attached to -
