MA is such a douchebag. Ugh
And that's news???

And of course, this is why we know he's a douchbag:

Spoiler: Luke will be at Rory's graduation
Thanks Saranoh. I'd like to have your babies. Of course, the technicalities of producing such an outcome would make things a bit challengiing, not to mention expensive, but I'm sure you'll approve

(I know he's a 'professional' of some sort in the television biz, but frankly, Sara gets more of my respect. Because she's never a douchbag who's trying to collect hungry fans and asking them to pamper her about how much they love her. )

Also, Luke HAD to be there for Rory's graduation. If not because episode a certain letter, calling Luke "Just like a father figure to Rory", made headlines as a crucial plot for the entirety of episode 7.12. He's always been there for birthdays, graduations, anything. He's there out of almost habit, dependable, heck, DR even had to figure out a pathetic (IMO) way to make him show up at the hospital when Richard went ill this year, just to make that point clear-that he was there.

Luke HAD to be at the graduation. Regardless of whether he was dating Lorelai or not...Now, the other questions I have are:

Is Sookie and Jackson coming? (I feel not for some reason...how many seats could Rory save for this graduation?)
Is Lorelai and Luke going together, or separately? As friends, or in a newly re-established relationship? These questions are probably going to go unanswered for a long time, but it's important to know that they're out there.

Thank you SO much. Now I can go to sleep.
Cuz I was just starting to think how him NOT being there would have been in my "top 3 worst GG moments"

I’m thinking this too George.

DS has two more episodes right? He’s been the Reason for the Season! this year so I won’t be surprised if he’s douchebagging it up in the final episode ever.

Thank crap for that! (And thank you for the spoiler ) I want to see all the separate worlds collide in this episode. Maybe even throw April in there so she can take a tour of the campus. It would have been a real missed opportunity if it were just the Happy Haydens.

I’m getting the feeling that we won’t see L/L together until the final. There’s a chance there’ll be some movement in the Dude Where’s my Hat episode but DR probably thinks we’ll all turn off once LL hook up again. He learned at ASP’s knee after all, so he’s probably memorized the TV 101 textbook too.

Ugh. It certainly stirred up feelings for me. Very, very negative ones. Man, I really didn't used to despise Christopher this much, but now? Guh. I would be perfectly happy with a wave from the other side of the auditorium, like normal divorcing people.
Ditto, sister friend.

Thanks for the information, Sara. He damn well better be there. I want the whole gang there (Sookie, Jackson, Logan, Lane, Zach). It'd be nice if Christopher (and hopefully his new girlfriend) were on a totally different side than the gang. That's wishful thinking, though.

Exactly. It's always about him. Just like at parents day. "*I* missed so much" "poor *me*". "I don't know anything about my daughter. Let's all go to my chalet"

I'm not a Christopher-hater but this is TOO funny.

Wait, so if DS has two episodes left, and one is 7.21, do we think he'll be in the finale? Or before 7.21?

I hope before 7.21...just so he's not 'douchebagging up' what could be the last GG ever.

Does he have to have a certain amount of screen time to be considered in the episode? Or could it just be like " here are the divorce papers, all signed. See you at the Graduation. Bye."

Good questions,

...and do they take the new "family" SUV, Chris can ride his bike but what of GG?

ETA - correct me if I'm wrong but it was only assumed Chris would be in 2 more eps, he might just be in ep 21.

He was barely in eps 2 and 13 and they counted.

Thanks for AA and the spoiler.

It makes sense that Luke would be there at Rory's graduation. At times when LL were in a fight over the seasons or not together, Luke and Rory always seemed to still be able to talk to one another.
