So basically we have to wait till Upfronts since they are in mid may right? Bwah. Seems weird. Surely they will have decided either way by then.

It seems to me that they have endured 6 years with little or no say in what was going on under ASP and their old contract and now they are enjoying the power they have and are trying to use it to their advantage.

I wish we knew what their demands are. It is probably more than just money.

If this is true, we'll have to watch the finale not knowing whether it is the season or series finale. That's going to be really hard.

If AB hasn't definitely said no yet, there's still hope.

It seems to me that LG and AB are just playing the waiting game, holding out for the best deal. And I'm sure they know they'll get it at the 11th hour, but they're going to make everyone sweat for awhile.

Yes DS full time for LG and a writer credit - we may get our middle just not the middle we want
AB producing credit and a storyline or maybe 10 eps instead of 22 - I can live with that for her
just bring the brinks truck

next thing you know we will get a s8 but no L/L because LG and AB will have widdled everyone away

Thanks, sounds like the same game of chicken ASP played last year, but I guess this time they want them back!

wow - gotta say, I can no longer watch WBB - I used to rather like it - now when I see her blathering to Luke about how she spent the evening with Chris when his dad died only because Chris showed up at her parent's vow renewal - makes me sick. And, Chris seems even slimier that he showed up to try to interfere/break up her and Luke - especially now that we saw how he took advantage of the situation after Partings - really, I keep wondering - what on earth is there to like about this guy? Never saw it, never will.

Tells me that her self esteem this year has been below ground that she felt that was the guy she deserved to have as a life partner - sad. I really am not inviting people to try and explain Chris' worthiness - I'll never be convinced - he's just so much the guy that I and all my friends have made sure to steer clear of because they are so selfish and immature. I could see a younger woman maybe falling for him but a woman who had reached Lorelai's point in life, I'll never understand it. Oh well, the power of fictional television.

And, her dress in WBB - gets more awful every time I've seen it.
