I would agree with you, but what have they given us good, other then L/C breakup, and I'm not so sure about that.

Why aren't you sure about that? I know that it's hard to trust showrunners, but L/C are broken up. For good.

Well, all through out the LC marriage, they continually had good LL moments. To really let us know that these people were linked forever and that no matter how hard they tried, they weren't gonna be able to forget about each other. And now that Lorelai is single, there is some good stuff coming up in the next eps. I don't think that Luke and Lorelai are going to throw each other on the ground and have a wild makeout session in the middle of the gazebo. Not that I'd complain if they did.

But I think that they are leading them to get back together and for that I'm happy.

are you serious ? because what I saw was not good LL moments go back to your s1-26 dvd's those were good L/L moments -what we got ths season was writers and dsr and lg placating us - yes we got a momenw with doola and a moment in the hospital but i would take loreali having her neverous breakdown last season over those "supposed" good L/L moments

All I know is the rumors(that's the key word) that I heard. Which is that DR knew L/L fans would be upset about the L/C marriage, and that's why he decided to get the info about it out early. I don't know if that's actually true, though.

BTW - wouldn't it ONLY be Rory's choice who is there and who ever said it before if there is a 4 ticket limit IMO Richard would pull some strings or DSR would just not care about reality, why start now?

I have to disagree with you on this. No, they weren't the greatest moments LL ever had. But they were good. They showed us how much Luke and Lorelai were still in each other's lives and how they would still drop everything for the other one if they needed it. That said a lot to me. I hated Lorelai's nervous breakdown last season. I'd take the LL moments this season any day over that.

thanks for responding - but either this guy has no clue and or just doesn't care
or he believed he had good storytelling but obviously never watched the show - i bet he is known for this with his other shows. its all to depressing

at this point I love Chris Carter more and he wrecked x-files for two seasons but he at least figured it out in the end

At least they probably won't do a Greys Anatomy and have a dream scene, Lorelai in bed with both Luke and Chris "who do I chose" moment like they had at the start of the season with McDreamy and McVet!

Well, I for one am glad that Luke is going to be there. I know that Chris is supposed to be there, since he's Rory's father, however, with the way he's treated her all her life, he doesn't deserve it. If they had shown Chris there, and not Luke (who has been there for Rory), I would have been throwing things at my tv.

I think I'm going to miss this forum more than the actual show. I'm going to have to search for a new addiction, if this is the end.
