Same here. and not for what Ausiello said (the serie/season finale could be because he doesn't have the faintest clue about the show gettin' renewed or not) but because it sounds like they are wrapping up things.

I will not start a Rory versus Lorelai thing here, God forbid.
It's just that Rory graduating and starting her career as a journalist - maybe a cnn one! - will be the perfect finale for her and if Logan's in the picture too then it's even better but I don't feel like it's necessary.

But for Lorelai I always hoped that the pre-serie finale - the x.21 episode - would have been her wedding and then the season finale would have been a "day in the life of the Gilmore Girls" with Lorelai and Luke being married and running their business and Rory callin' home and travelling around the world.
Add the townies being, well, themselves and the picture would have been perfect.

Too bad we won't see that.

Thanks for the new info, Sara.I'm glad the graduation isn't the finale. They need the finale to give us a glimpse, even a tiny one, into the near or more distant future of these characters. Yea, I was also thinking along the lines of Rory meeting up with CA after graduation. Rory probably finds out that she was the successful candidate in the NYC internship she interviewed for in WYBMLG (either in an episode(s) prior to her graducation or in 7:21). While working in her new job she gets the opportunity to meet CA.

lol, well he said it in an episode last season. I forget which one.. when they were planning that jump that nearly killed Logan. He didn't know what it meant. Anyway, so now I associate it with Finn.
