isn't our timeline all screwy again since ep 17 was technically supposed to be April since it aired early? I was almost wondering if we're celebrating Sookie's 5th anniversary in 20.

Maybe 7.18 is still spring break so April is visiting and there is a little time jump to early summer for the later episodes which would bring April back to SH and, hopefully, move L/L along....

There are so many things that happen/happened at the end of a season that they could be celebrating: the weddings of S/J, L/TJ, or L/Z, April or Lorelai's B-Day, Rory's graduation... I'm very interested in what the next batch of ep. descriptions will be saying about all these LL and townie things.
