I wonder if ASP would have made the situation more of a triangle between Chris, Luke and Lorelai - rather than have C/L married. I remember when LG was interviewed before the season began she talked about the story being about the triangle - yet, there was no such thing. Just her and Chris together and Luke off doing whatever with April, etc. Sometimes I think that maybe DR couldn't figure out to write the triangle and decided it was just easier to go with the idiotic marriage -

I almost could have handled a triangle - maybe it would have been more enjoyable more of a laugh with chris looking more of an ass- because it would have been laughable to see how each would have pursued (sp) her

That was going to be my second suggestion

I just thought that a party for April that not only included Lorelai but the rest of the townies is like coming full circle from last year. Maybe Lorelai would organise the whole thing this year instead of jumping in at the last minute to save it from disaster.

The whole Rory graduation or Lorelai's birthday do seem more plausible though!

Until we hear more I'm thinking it's just a crazy town thing, but a party for Rory or someone sounds good. Just a pity we probably will never see and engagement party for Luke and Lorelai.

I'll be upset if we had to sit through a Max/Lorelai engagement party, and all of the sad planning for a Chris/Lorelai party, and we don't get a single moment of Luke/Lorelai partying goodness!

But the only thing that could make this season worse, IMO, is if they end it with a five minute wrap up of the LL conflict and leave the rest up to our imaginations. We've been imagining the LL wedding since season 1, now we need to SEE it!

I'm a visual person! All of this imagining is NOT good for me!

Well ITA what triangle! Even in ep 14 she never really saw Luke as an option just that there were feelings and she is yet to do anything about that.

DSR copped out by keeping L&L apart for 5 eps which was just stupid!

nst - Just an observation. While those pics are nice - You do make very hard on those people who do not have a broadband connection.

Prof, awesome you got to play the piano at Miss Patty's. Glad to hear it was in tune. I could just imagine your rant if it hadn't been, lol
I swear, I would not have ranted at all. Well, not too badly. There would have been a snide comment or two but that's it. It totally looked like it hadn't been touched in years. I opted not to touch the piano in the grandparents' house since the tour guide was actually there with us for that. So we'll never know if that one's in tune as well. Sigh.

Awww that makes me sad Gah, there is so much they could do with a season 8!!! It could potantially be the best season of GG ever, and end on the highest note possible. Can KAB not be selfish for one more year?!

I really think they may go the distance with this one. Not confirm until close to May, or even at upfronts. With the hope that they can maybe change minds (Alexis, Lauren).

But in the meantime do the finale in such a way that it can be a reasonable decent ending if it doesn't come back. But if it does, there is enough to do a final season.

Or have a last scene to substitute either way. If it's the series finale, have the final scene close off the show. If not, air the other one.

But something tells me CW will wait until the last minute to confirm, because you never know what may change at the last minute.

But DR would be wise to make it a series finale in case.

Bonding, yes, we were bonding in our little cart riding around the WB lot, singing happily just like the Partridge Family. Oh, no, wait that was later when we ran into Danny Bonaduce after they rolled out the red carpet for you. The things I do for special LA visitors, and look at the thanks I get!

Bonding? It's hard to bond with people when certain parties are so quiet and only speak when spoken to.

Though I still think the number 1 thing you would have gone home to brag about what seeing the 51 Miss. USA's. And, well, Danny Bonaduce of course...

Well, I guess there was a reason last year that we saw her planning the wedding, wearing the dress and being kissed by Luke wearing the dress, we saw them remodel the house (as many marrieds do), we saw them starting a tradition during Halloween - and probably a few more things I can't now remember - all those things are stuff we would see when a couple actually does go forward with the wedding - ASP just threw them at us - kinda like bones to hungry dogs....now, we never get to see the actual wedding/marriage. Drat.
