It feels real now. It's never felt real to me one way or another before, but now it feels real, like it's really ending. Damn it, not only am I so attached to LL, but I grew up with Rory, Lane and Paris. I honestly cannot look back and remember a time without the Gilmores, and I'm just not ready to say good-bye to all of them.

I don't really think it's strange. I think that Luke putting on the cap is like a representation that he's ready to let her in again (whether his intentions are just a friendship or if they're more). I think the apologies will be a turning point as far as them opening up and starting over. But after the fight, Luke probably still won't think that anything could happen again between him and Lorelai. Something must happen in ep. 19 or 20 that really makes him think that he can have her in his life again, and therefore he'd put on the cap.

Actually...I wouldn't necessarily give up hope just yet...If they don't have to inflate Alexis' salary there will be more money to throw at Lauren. I bet it is worth a whole bunch to the CW to keep even a Rory-less Gilmore Girls than an empty space on Tuesdays. I would also expect Lauren to be a bit more pragmatic regarding a great paying regular job. She knows the ups and downs of TV (Townies, anyone???).

I am willing to bet that if the CW/WB meets that dollar amount in Lauren's mind, they will get her.

Great show and the last 2 eps are on Monday night here, cough of the first 6 are up, yes only 8 eps in the short season!

Yes KAB is entitled to do what she see fit in her life and I wish her the best of luck.

as for the Blue cap IMO he might go home at the end of 19 and pick up the cap, maybe the first anyone else sees it again is 20?

That's why we need season 8. The only way she can think this year is a "high" is if she's on something.

I'm sure if they offered KAB a large enough amount than she would say yes, it'd be rediculous to turn it down. Although i agree its not all about the money, but to a large extent it is. We just don't get to hear about it.

I agree but money talks.

I guess have a feeling it's not gonna work this time.

IMO Lauren is in the better short term position right now work wise, she has a BIG movie release in July and plenty of opportunities now to pick what she wants to do either on screen or with her production company. Going on what she has said in the past it's unlikely she'll do another series right away, maybe some guest spots on other shows and some movies. Maybe EA with give her the break to do a starting roll in a movie and we'll see her at the Oscars in a few years!

I was going to stay silent on this matter but I just have to comment. I'm afraid some people, and I'm not going to mention any names, have left out the most important part of the tour this past Monday. I could hardly believe it myself, but in Miss Patty's there is... a piano that is completely in tune. Had you seen the piano itself you would understand why the fact that it's in tune is so shocking. Amazing. I honestly cannot believe that Mots, dreamslut and CB didn't mention it themselves.

I haven't heard about it but it sounds great, I love how he popped up in GA the other week.
