That is the only way it would work without Rory. And even then people might rebel from watching, because it wouldn't have Rory. And it would be a whole new show, and might not do as well.

But I still don't think Lauren would want a whole new show. Isn't she getting into movies.

If I had a million bucks I would bet it on LG never doing this show without AB - I think it is likely done. Sniff. What a wasted last year - but, even if there was going to be another season, I personally don't think the writing was going to miraculously improve, so I'm resigned.

Whatever happens in the last episode, I hope the very last scene is just Rory and Lorelai - maybe walking through SH or meeting up in SH to share good news - or something and that everyone is on the road to a good place. But, that last few minutes, I hope is just Rory/Lorelai.

I hope we get a two hour finale. I want more than L/L "in a nice place". WTF is that? They were in a "nice place" at the end of S4. And at the end of S5. Hell, they've been in a NICE FREAKIN' PLACE from the pilot all the way up to 6.09.

The fans who have been strung along for seven years deserve more than that. Luke and Lorelai deserve more than that. I want a wedding.

Crap, this show has reduced me to a silly fangrl, idiotic fairytale ending squeechy little girl.

Ciaobella, you're so right, and it's just awful. I didn't waste seven years on this show to see LL end up in a good place. I didn't waste all the time since the end of season 4 to only have LL end up back in that same place three years later. This is ridiculous.

Already saw that show. Wasn't it called "The Mary Tyler Moore Show"? Or was it "That Girl"?
