I think the writers are watching too many soap operas. Up next, Rory will break up with Logan because she is being blackmailed by the TA. Lorelai will become a serial killer who later develops amnesia and Luke will have a long lost daughter. Ooops, they already did that one! LOL

Finally, Luke will learn that Kirk is his long-lost half brother resulting from his mother's affair with Taylor.

I agree but I think a lot of the bad stuff is in Lorelai's mind and she really needs to get over that, I think she has grown in this area in the last 2 years.

Let's get off of the yes/no about season 8. I want to ask you guys something. The spoilers we've gotten so far with LL in eps. 18, 19, 20, do you think, knowing the possibilities that this might be it, will LL reunite? What do you think? I'd like to hear eveyones opinion, pro's and con's.

which is why it doesn't make sense, LL were good together, written well and the ratings prospered, so we had to break them up pre-emptively. RL not doing so well, the ratings weren't looking as great long before that, lets keep 'em together? Interesting double standard.

It's tough to say with the time they have left. I think they will definitely be close friends again. I don't know how far into a romantic relationship they can be with the number of episodes we have left. Maybe they will kiss in 7.21. My guess. I hope its 7.20.

As I was listening to the commentary on YJIJJ earlier today, I found the bolded part below interesting. It reminded me of the many discussions on the MT about Luke possibly being a father figure to Rory. It looks like even the Palladino’s saw the significance of Luke in Rory’s life.

Either AB is a BAD actress or they gave her the worst dialogue ever for the past few months. This season so far has really flatlined for me. AB is no Merryl Streep but after the junk they gave her to work with so far this year I wouldn't want to come back either.

I'm thinking ep 21, which we currently know nothing about might be them reuniting for one good reason. We have the graduation in the final and while I'm all for L&L I don't ant the final to be all about L&L hooking up.

I'm really hoping early in ep. 21, just so that we can get some time with LL, but so that ep. 22 can be focused on Rory/Lorelai. I think it could be very possible if DR has things go quickly. The cap returning has to mean that Luke's totally letting her back into his life, if he's willing to be reminded of her every morning and every night when he puts on or takes off the hat. I might hate the damn symbolism, but it's the clearest sign to me that LL are getting close to reuniting by ep. 20.

Ugh, the UST on XF was the worst. Sexual tension needs to be released, but CC was the king of keeping the UST.

Thanks for the update Katie. Now I can stop wondering how things ended with these two couples on EW. From what I have seen so far, I don’t think Ephram is deserving of Amy. Twice (that I have seen so far) he left her to find himself, hurting her in the process. Maybe he matures in the end.

OT: Yes, he is immature during the eps you're watching now. He does mature in the end. I wish they would release the DVD's, S1 is the only one out.

I think L/L will reunite in ep. 20. They have the talk in 18, they spend time together car shopping in 19 (if I haven't got the spoilers mixed up), so I'm guessing 20. On the optimistic side, perhaps 19.
