ITA, if this is the final season then this was DSRs biggest mistake!

I agree. If it was 100% agreed before the season started that this was going to be the last, it could have been a hell of a season.

There's no redeeming the series in a few episodes.

I feel sorry for Lauren to end it this way for her, if the tvguide.com rumor monger is right.

That's what makes me so angry - that this is probably the last season and they wasted more than half of it on the idiocy of C/L - pisses me off royally. I wouldn't mind at all to say goodbye to the show if they hadn't wasted the season in such an unpleasant, badly written way.

Even if they didn't know for sure that this is the last season they shouldn't have wasted SO much time! Get them to date for 2 or 3 episodes then have Lorelai realize she doesn't love him and bye bye. No stupid marriage, no stupid nothing!!! But noo DR had to follow ASP's two year plan. Well now that we probably won't have the second year it all backfired! I'm mad and depressed now!

I'm devastated. What happened to the news that negotiations for season 8 were going good? How can they wrap things up in 3 eppys.

At least if this is the end Lauren has a BIG movie to look forward to in July, MM has her pilot, SP should have plenty of work coming his way and MC is looking good.

I just wonder if AB has anything lined up, and this is the reason she is not signing? (if AB is the reason)

I hope they work out a last minute deal for a number of reason but at the same time it would be nice to "get a life" away from the show next season.

Ok, seriously, MA needs to get his stories straight. What happened to his gut feeling? What an a**. That is so cool that CA is going to be on though... I really hope it doesn't mean series finale. There has to be an 8th season. There is no way in my mind I would ever be satisfied with the 5 remaining episodes, no matter how well-done they are.

I have ESH on in the background right now, waiting for the last scene

I love LG's hair in the FND scene when Emily tells her she's ready to date.

Maybe I'm a strange LL fan, but I've never thought that I had to see their middle. I mean, I never thought that even if they had gotten married last season that we would have seen much of it. So I guess that I'm not that disappointed about that. But I wanted to see more of their beginning.

Don't jump on the depressing wagon guys. It was kind of quite for the last few days concerning another season. Now Ausiello just wants to stir up the fire again. The hiatus just started, everything quietens down and now the talk starts again.
I can already imagine how many fans wrote him emails just about now.

i didn't need to see it until they taunted us with it at the beginning of last season, now those 'what ifs' just won't go away.

Well i didn't either. But after 13 episodes of cr** i want to see LL together and happy for a number of episodes. I don't care if it's the middle or the beginning or whatever!! Gah!

I love LG's heir no matter what but most so in S3-4, before she insisted on tucking it behind her ears all the time, IMO it make her look younger.
