so Jeep and Crysler are technically the same company, maybe Lorelai wants to just replace her Jeep and Luke rants about how unsafe that car was for all those years, but Lorelai doesn't want a differernt car, and Luke is the one to advocate change and that's how they end up fighting.

Just curious - is Jeep/Chrysler a sponsor of the show? Rory's car is a Toyota, so it probably doesn't make a difference, but I do know that often, when given the choice, they often choose cars or other props that are made by show sponsors.

yeah, I was wondering about product placement earlier, especially in light of the whole t-mobile sidekick thing last season.

Warners have a deal with Dodge and Ford. So it's safe to say that Lorelai may be driving either a DODGE or a FORD in the future. Thanks for confiriming last Wednesday everybody.

So the Dodge Aspen makes sense, then. Not that it really matters, I guess, but it explains a Aspen as opposed to a Corvette, say. Not that I think Lorelai would ever consider a Corvette!

That she still loves him and she wanted to have his kid(s) and be married to him - she still wants all of that but she can't have it because he doesn't love her or want her anymore. Luke just stands there and lets her rant for a bit and then he just grabs her and kisses her

Not likely - too good to be true. But I'd probably die on the couch if it happened

Mots I can see Emily trying to step in, she's done it before and if Chris came to her, maybe she would do it again, or maybe they were helping with a lawyer for the divorce and have been postponing it and she get frustrated?

elle personal I though she would want something more fun, a sports car, I guess we'll have to wait and see the reason why she chose it, if she did. I'm of the belief that if you have no need for an SUV why run around in one, Every day I see these idiots (male and female) in HUGE SUVs struggling to park and drive them and they are the only person in the car. While I'm there zipping through the traffic.

Cappuccino I can see Lorelai taking her anger out on the doll house, I really don't see Luke doing it unless it's an accident. And either way I would be nice for Luke to fix it, in the process fixing them.

Gah... They just showed DMG here. I remember the L/E scene to be much more emotional than I found it to be now.. Guess S7 has ruined the few bits of S6 I liked. Hee but Sookie and Jackson referring to pot as pickle. Funny.

I don’t think Emily will be siding with Chris again, she learned her lesson after WBB. L/C tried a marriage and they failed. Emily knows now that L/C were not meant to be.
She even said Lorelai might marry someone else.

Craig, I don’t think the car might be a present from E/R. I doubt that Lorelai even tells her parents right away that she needs a new car. She doesn’t want their money she still wants to do everything on her own.
