maybe we are supposed to suspend reailty here as well - the same way with the shoes and house and all that

because unless the conversation is REALLY good meaning everything is ironed out that happened since april - it won't be realistic and we will have to deal with it and be happy with it becuase it has the potential to be great and the potential to be really bad

but again we are dealing with sp and lg - together they are incrediblely passionate - apart they are like painting waiting to dry - so in that regard i bet it will be great - because they have saved themselves for this scene maybe

Also thank you to Copperboom and dreamslut for their tour input/info. Sounds like you almost had a dream tour - almost because sans SP, well ... that makes it "almost".

If that is Lorelai's new car, it's interesting how at this point in her life, unattached, probably making a nice income, finally able to live a single, carefree life, Rory possibly moving even farther away, and she opts to buy this enormous family car instead of some sporty one.

I wonder if we don't get a "what about the kids?" slip of the tongue encore- this time from her. Perhaps Luke tries to convince her to get some small economic car and she insists on looking for bigger vehicles and when he persists, she suddenly blurts out she needs it (big car) "for the family" revealing her state of mind .... Luke is stunned. "What family?"

The destruction of the dollhouse is still a mystery to me, but I like both your scenarios, Audi and Capp.

And Lorelai's going to ride up to the diner on her bike? That should be hilarious. Maybe she'll need some safety pointers from April.

Don't be sorry. After everything that has happened you have the right to still be bitter...so many of us still are. But I think a lot of us want a S8 for the same reason...to have more time to get L/L to a better place and actually get to see them together again. Too much time this season was wasted on Lorelai and the person who doesn't need to be mentioned right now, lol

I really like all the specs about the dollhouse. I think it makes perfect sense for Lorelai to end the episode upset. All this interaction with Luke is bound to bring back a lot of feelings, emotions, and regret. She never really did beat herself up about everything, she always blamed Luke or life in general. Maybe this will help her see what SHE gave up, and then she'll get really upset and have to release some of her anger.

I think it's even more possible if everything with Luke goes well, even the outcome of the fight. It would probably make her even more frustrated with her life now to be bantering with Luke like the old LL knowing that she let that go.

I was thinking that the spoiler/info that Lorelai goes back to Luke's as part of getting back to her "pre-Christopher" routine may mean that the divorce (if one is necessary) is final.

I like Audi's spec, but since we know the flat screen tv is still there, I hope that she tries to throw the remote at that, and then hits the dollhouse by accident, I really hate that tv.

About the bike, didn't Luke have 2 on the back of his truck in TLM when he came to the CS all packed and ready to elope? Not that it means anything.. just a random thought.
