Good point. Fingers crossed that they don't forget Luke's 'green' side - it's already too disconcerting to try to think about old eps and new eps at the same time. People used to joke about the continuity fairy with the little things, but the characters consistently rang true. That's what I've most missed.

Maybe it's the awesome weather or just the thought about the episode title makes me all

They are going car shopping

Someone destroys the doll house and I don't know why but I like it. Maybe the house represents the CS while Chris was living there with her (playing house and be the family her mother always wanted them to be) and when Lorelai beats up the house she bans all Chris demons.

Actually, I'm pretty surprised Lorelai hasn't been incredibly angry with herself for her behavior since Partings - maybe she really needs to have a good old fashioned rage against herself and start to rebuild her life and self esteem....

Ok, i've been a lurker for awhile, so i'm just popping in.

Thanks to all who gave spoilers and info!!! They give me alot of hope, now I just have to get through this month so I can really look forward to seeing them play out.

I also think that maybe after arguing with Luke, Lorelai will take a good stock of her life and her behavior and what the dollhouse represents to her and destroy it maybe in anger. It'll be interesting to see what happens.

Do we even know that it is Lorelai who destroys the dollhouse?
Not that I know any reason why someelse should destroy it.

But it must be something really frustrating for Lorelai. We have never seen a violent outburst of her before. This could be interesting.

i would agree with that except that it seems too late in the game, she's already gone back to the diner and tried to 'right' things at this point. A few eps back would have made more sense, with the house representing the perfect package that she wasn't going to get after divorcing Christopher and losing Luke, woulda made more sense to me.

Whatever the reason I'm just picturing Emily standing there shaking her head "And that's why we kept it behind glass!"

I don't think it's impossible for Lorelai to buy/lease that SUV. She's the owner of one of the most successful inns in CT. I'm guessing she is making a pretty good salary these days. And it'd probably be good for her. She could transport stuff in it, she could bring Rory home from college in it, move her wherever else she might have to go. She could use it for the inn and all sorts of stuff. It's a little big for her, but I think she could pull it off.

Same here. I think I spent the rest of the tour trying to figure out what could happen to make her so mad that she could ever possibly destroy something she seems to love so much. And it seems like she has a good day with Luke.. so I don't know that she could be really angry at him. Unless the car shopping experience doesn't go as well as she would have liked. Maybe she is so upset that she and Luke still aren't close so she comes home and destroys the doll house because she always saw the doll house as what her future would be and she just can't see that right now?

Or, and I hope this isn't the case, maybe Emily has been conversing with Christopher and tells him he could probably still work things out with Lorelai? I don't know. I just can't picture Lorelai getting so angry that she physically hurts something. I mean it'd take a lot to kill that doll house.

What am I doing up so early?! Bah.
