| I agree its just one of those things we have to overlook. The only thing about the new car that bothers me is the fact I will miss the Jeep. It seems they are getting rid of a lot of the old stuff on the show. As long as they don't get rid of the L/L story I'm just going to have to be ok with it. | Well, we had to suspend our logic for so many things that this is just one more, I guess: Clothes that cost more than she could ever make, a house and a car while she had a daughter and a not so well payed job, a marriage which would never be legal, and oh the fortune she spend on take out, Luke's coffee and so on, although she was "saving" for her own Inn (which by the way is a miracle itself how she could save money while paying for the house, a car, bussiness school and a daughter)... So I can deal with that car  Although it seems a bit "big" for her. Little Lorelai with that huge car  | |||

| Well, I had to suspend belief when they crammed the nonsense of C/L down my throat which, for me, wasn't believable for one second, so I can accept her getting this car - I would think that Luke would say something about the horrid gas mileage SUVs get - if they even remember that he used to way back when have a "green" sensibility. His old truck likely gets better mileage than these new gas guzzlers. I'm just gald to have some L/L news - this has been a long long drought - and I guess she is about to get yet another example of how Luke Danes is in your life forever - Thanks to you guys for taking the time to tell us about your tour. | Good morning everyone. Thanks for the new thread Mots and the spoiler from the last thread. Luke and Lorelai buying a car together. Umh, sounds like an anvil to me. First the car, then the house, maybe some kids (if that’s the car she buys it’s definitely meant for a big family). They are subconsciously planning ahead and working together towards their future as a family. Quote:

| I'm not worried at all that Chris would ever again be a threat so if he appears again for wahtever reason, I won't mind - in fact, I would love to see his face in a scene where he watched L/L together, when they are reunited romantically. Yep - that is how much I dislike the character of Chris. I also like that they wrote his leaving with barely a flicker of emotion on Lorelai's part - he's gone, it wasn't right....the end. | |||
