Well, lets hope that DR changed the SL again and that Dopey will only appear in ONE more ep, Rory´s graduation....that the divorce will happen off-screen, the car is for Lorelai, with lots of space for LL babies

and that AB signs that damn deal......

I love reading them. I do love the new car; it is one nice car. Though I am a bit sad to see the Jeep go. I'll get over it. lol. You should have gone to Griffith Park and tracked LG down for info!

So AB is still the one stalling?? I hope she does sign.. I am not ready to let go!

From the last thread -- I loved the discussion on GG obsession. You guys make me feel so much better...my guy friends and my sister give me such a difficult time about FF and my love for GG in general. It's nice to have a community here

Luke and Lorelai car shopping together seems surreal to me. It's finally happening. They are finally on the road to a reunion. It's so amazing and yet so scary to think about!

or the meaning is about coming back into the diner. but then again they were lovers when she left it and not just friends.

Wow finally we get some good news on LL. I don't think they reconcile in this epsiode but at least the friendship is restored again.

I really don't want to spoil all the fun. This car is amazing and has a lot of room for the kids. But it's a Chrysler SUV. Isn't this car a little bit too expensive for Lorelai.

I was car shopping some weeks ago with a friend and we even didn't dare to look at a car like this because it would have been way beyond our financial possibilities. And she has a steady job.

I don't want to say that Lorelai is completely broken or something but we always knew that she never had as much money as her parents.
I'm not sure whether she has already paid all the debts for the inn. They never mentioned it again.

So everyone is in but AB - well she should make up her mind soon. They can definitely write her out of the show or put her just in 13 episodes.

Before S7 I would have hated to have a S8 with less Rory, but now..? Well, the need for a S8 is higher than the need for a Rory in every episode. S7 can't be the last one, it simply can't.

I love the 7.19 title. You never forget how to ride a bike and you'll (Lorelai) never forget how to be friends (and more, hopefully) with Luke. Nice

The only thing that doesn't add up is the destruction of the dollhouse. Why would Lorelai be angry and take her anger on it? She returns to the diner, she goes car shopping with Luke. Maybe Rory?

Or dopey returns and see LL making out and smashes it

As far as being able to afford the SUV, it's just one of those things we have to suspend our logic for, along with all those Marc Jacobs shoes, Coach handbags and Lucky jeans she wore even while she was trying to get the DYI running.

Unless Luke offers to help her out......

The poor dollhouse. I can see Lorelai taking her anger out on it depending on how the LL fight goes. Even if it's a good, healthy fight, it might really break her to see that maybe Luke still cares or something, knowing how she ruined their relationship and how (at least to her) that they can never get it back.

I can't see how it could have anything to do with anyone but Luke, since it seems like Lorelai's entire episode involves her car and Luke...

eh, not really. I'm not gonna put that much thought into it, especially if we're doing product placement again like with the Tmobile sidekick. What if Lorelai wants that giant, gasguzzling car, and Luke tries to talk her out of it, and we have a "If you bought a boat I can buy this car!" fight.
