So is this the car they will use to move the inn guests to the festival? I remember reading something like that in the sides.

ETA never mind the car shopping is ep.19 and the festival in 18

I mean I don't know for sure that Lorelai is going to have a company car, but with the car shopping and that being the only new car on the lot.. it makes sense. Plus, it makes business sense. I bet Luke would even point that out.

it makes sense with the emblem in the window and everything, unless she gets to the lot and decides to get two new cars, one for her and one for the DFI, which would be weird. I just wonder what an inn would need a company car for.

Why not a Toyota SUV? Don´t they also come with a hybrid drive ?

I agree about the Toyota SUV hybrid.

But I understand getting it through the DFI, it makes some sense.

They are actually driving the inn guests to the festival in a green trolley car. Has the "Spring Fling" banner on it and such.

I love the new SUV. It's big but not monsterous like that one she drove for Emily. And it's a beautiful color! I can really picture Lorelai driving it.

The missing jeep was back on the lot today with it's twin, parked near the SUV. I don't know if Lorelai intends to have it repaired or what - but they haven't gotten rid of it off the lot yet.

I was just about to post that. I could see a bunch of CIPs that could afford it (not me) trying to get the jeep.

Thanks for the new report Mots! I like the SUV. Then again, I'm a sucker for Chrysler products, especially all those throw back, retro models they are putting out. And yes, I wish they were more gas effecient and Al Gore approved. But I drove one of those Highlanders and no offense to anyone who has one, but I wouldn't trust my family in one. JMO.

And it's blue. Hee.

Oh, when you were in Luke's, did you notice if the No Cell Phones sign was down?

Yup, she'll be turning 39 this April.
