Craig, I don’t think the car might be a present from E/R. I doubt that Lorelai even tells her parents right away that she needs a new car. She doesn’t want their money she still wants to do everything on her own.

I doubt it also but I was thinking her birthday is coming up, what if like in S3 Richard is a year out and decides to get her a nice gift for her 40th after hearing about the Jeep?

But I'm thinking it's more likely that yes she is a success with the DFI so it should be easy to get a loan or maybe Luke co-signs.

Weirder thinks have happened this season!

Lorelai owns a very successful business. She probably has excellent credit and does not need co-signer. Luke is there because buying a car by yourslef is a big step, it probably is the first time she bought a new car so needs a friend there. Hence why luke is there.

This sounds like a great episode I cannot wait.

I love Luke's lines at the end (well, pretty much throughout the whole episode) but I love when he says: "he's chatting with my rare coin guy" and then "I like the valet guys" - even though he was sick during the making of the episode, his delivery was great....aaahhh, the old days when Luke had good dialogue....

So, true, very sad story: I was with some friends earlier, and tried to get on to FF to see if Tara or anyone had returned from tours. And one of my friends comes up behind me and he says, "you know we're planning an intervention, right?"

It so reminded me of all our talk last night about being CIP.

Ha. I remember when I thought that line was made up by the CIPs to refer to ASP's evilness ("honk if ASP views your mind..."). It wasn't until I rewatched that episode when I realized it was a play on GG quotes.

So all this wonderful information seems to be coming all at once... It's barely been a week!! I hope the goodness keeps on coming, but I'm starting to get to the point I don't want to know anything else new because I just want to see it!!

The thing I still don't like about drunk Luke is Lorelai telling him to leave and basically drink and drive, why couldn't she go to pick him up?

So.... I was that person today and went on another tour, lol. Figure I'm only here once and this could be the last season right? Gotta get what you can get.

The Blue Aspen is for Lorelai. Looks like she purchased it as a Dragonfly vehicle. Which is smart, she could write it off then as a business expense and company car. It's got a Dragonfly decal on it now.

Not much else really. Got to go into Luke's today. They were setting up in there, but don't know what for. They were adding more lights to the gazebo in town. Doing a lot of little stuff like that around town. I guess getting the Spring/Summer look going. AB and LG were on the lot and filming on the Dragonfly stage. but no SP again, dang it!! They were doing work on/in the Twickham house, but that doesn't mean it was for GG. Uh.. the guide today said that they had ripped Logan's apartment down because Logan was done and gone. I don't know what he knows, but that's what he said. We were in the Yale sound stage. I think they probably filmed a class room scene there recently.

But that was about it. Nothing too exciting, just the car I suppose.

Decal.. decal again.

I do remember how she freaked out when she had to drive Emily after the eye surgery. Man, was she tense !!
OR did that give her the real kick for such a "Tank" ??

... another thing : didn´t she give Rory her rant why she wasn´t driving a hybrid car?
Why not a Toyota SUV? Don´t they also come with a hybrid drive ?
