See this is exactly why I will not get excited about anything until I hear it from someone official, meaning the CW/WB. Or DR or main cast of course. I am grateful for everything you guys bring us, bad or good. We all prefer the good stuff but hey then we wouldn't have had much to discuss here over the past year

Shanti, sorry, my post did not deal with your feelings. However, her Vine show, records over the weekend. It would seem that events have changed with the quickness. Nevertheless, spoilers are spoilers, but we at least know Kristen does not have an agenda. Agendas are just not cool. Unless I am behind them...bruhahahahahahaha...what? I am typing that? Daggumit. Why didnt you tell me? You were eating a donut? Thanks.

Shanti70, Kristen sometimes (like Ausiello) exaggerates the possibilities. I don't think she knows for a fact that Rosenthal is looking for another job... she seems to be speculating that he might be since according to her knowledge, a Season 8 is still iffy. I don't think we will know for sure until we hear something solid.

We need to draw a fine line between what Ausiello and Kristen speculate and their facts. Unless they both believe what Colbert believes... facts come from the gut.

Thanks for the new thread! Oh there are no titles here ... I looked up to see if there was anything I wanted to say about the title. Have to get used to the 'new' situation ... I am not one who deals with changes very well

Everytime I really allow myself to be truely excited about a Season 8 I read something again that make me think I shouldn't get to excited ...

I agree. At least MA is making it clear that he either doesn't know or won't tell. The season 8 stuff was his gut feeling, and he made that obvious.

I hate to be the pessimist, but I don't feel like there will be a season 8, I never have, really. There are just so many more things going against it than there are for it.

I don't know why but I tend to side with Ausiello, kristen is almost wrong 99.9% of the time (and the fact that i just don't like her helps my opinion too

Oh yeah.. the worse the fight is the hoter the make up will be... and the season 6 final fight was a hell of a fight... I think they have to change the network and the time for the epi when they'll be back together. I think adult rating will be needed for sure

Aw, Katie. I think that a S8 is looking more likely. I'm not going to dance around until I know for sure, but the CW really needs GG and if the stuff about Matt and Scott is true then it is looking pretty likely. But I understand your not thinking it will happen. For so long I was thinking the same thing. There is just too much stuff going the other way now.

Lookiloo, I was thinking the same about DR hedging his bets. If there's a chance your job could end, it's only smart to be looking for something else.

I don't know what to believe about season 8. I am not letting myself believe anything because I just can't face the crushing disappointment. I've said it before, but I've been down this road with BtVS and I am not gonna do it again.
