OT: So a channel have bought the rights to S60 here and it starts in 2 weeks. Right after Lost so thats going to be a good night. I'm very curious as to how people will like it. And whether we get to actually see the last batch of episodes.

I really can't wait for the last eps to air. It sounds like things are going the right way with L/L and it makes me so happy. Though it does sound like they wont be together by 720 but thats just my take on things right now.

ETA - Capp where did it say Lorelai sells her Jeep? We just don't know, I'm spec'ing it's Luke who sells the truck, or maybe Lorelai is shopping for a new car for Rory? We really don't know.

I think that the girls have to be on board by now if they're closing deals with the others, since obviously, there's no 8 without the two.

Scott being on Babylon Fields is not true, though not ruling out other projects. Another cast member of Gilmore has however been cast in Cashmere Mafia and another in another show. Some of these may be rely on the future of the show. Sorry can't go into anymore detail than that, just wanted to clear up the BF info.

MA: I haven’t heard the Scott Patterson thing; the Matt Czuchry pilot, it’s my understanding that it’s not going forward.
DM: Okay.
MA: But it doesn’t matter anyway, because I’m sure, the way it works in a contract is these pilots are in second position.

MA: So, Gilmore Girls, if it gets picked up, they can’t do the pilot.
DM: And Katie also wants to know, you mentioned in your column this week that after Luke and Lorelai are in the diner again, there will be something involving car shopping and a big fight.

DM: Are those two things going to involve Luke and Lorelai, or are you trying to mislead us and it will end up being Sookie car shopping and Lane and Zach fighting?
MA: No, I’ll be going through a bit more of this in Ask Ausiello, but no, it’s definitely a Luke and Lorelai fight, but, I’ll say this, it’s a good fight. It’s not, like, you know, last season’s finale fight.
AC: Okay.
MA: This is a good, healthy fight.
DM: And what did you guys think about this week’s actual episode?
MA: I actually thought it was fun. I Sookie’d all of the stuff that didn’t have to do with the three women---
AC: Right.
MA: ---so anything to do with Zach and Luke; I’m sorry.
DM: Lane. Lane.
MA: Yeah, fastforwarded right through it. I didn’t love it, but I enjoyed spending time with the three women and watching them interact.
AC: The three of them together were really great.
DM: Who’s going to be the godmother? Is it gonna be Lorelai or is it gonna be Rory?
AC: Well, they kind of asked Rory to be the Lorelai, so…

thanks for the postcad lorelaisgirl. IMHO all the stuff about Luke and Lane/Zach was funny:i loved the dinner and Luke giving suggestions to Zach...i think that DR,among his several mistakes,gave us back the real Luke who Amy totally destroyed in the second part of S6
