Honestly I am still a bit weirded out by the thought that Lorelai and Luke should sleep in the bed again she shared with Chris.

Luke and Lorelai bought it, remodeled and then Chris came and now I think they need to remodel again or get other funiture or sth

You and me both. One of those things I hated they mentioned when we didn't get to see it. But it was nice to here about them having "normal" fights; I still wanted to see it though.

The CS needs to be exterminated. They should start over somewhere else. Though.. I mean every time you break up with someone you up and move.. I know this is different but I don't want everything in their lives to change. And everything in the show to change..

I doubt even in S8 that Lorelai will move, yes replace the bed or mattress and stuff but I bet the CS stays, even if Lorelai was to get a new car.

IF it's true. I'm not doubting Sassy's information - and many thanks for bringing it over.

This reminds me of corporate takeovers (in the small section where I worked, lol). You get rumors and partial information flying everywhere, and it could be the same on the GG set.

TA with George that maybe the CW is unloading those Brinks trucks. The CW needs GG more than the other way 'round. If money alone will persuade AB and LG....

They probably had Lauren already by giving her the producer role since episode 12 but a higher number on the paycheck sealed the deal.

Thanks for the season 8 negotiations update, Sassy. I hope all is signed and sealed and announced soon, long before the May upfronts.

And thanks for the info from the Hay Bale Maze rehearsing/shooting, Copperboom. It really should provoke Luke into some kind of rant, especially since it seems his diner is practically blocked, lol.

i'm looking forward to watch these new episodes...we'll have a lot of LL interaction. I miss their funny fights!i'm curious what is DR planning for this season finale...IMHO if there is S8,we'll have them kissing

As for the crapshack, I want LL to move from there eventually if there's a season 8, but I doubt that they really would ever do that on the set/show. If that's the case, I really want it addressed, because the Luke we all know would have issues sleeping there at first. Maybe they could make it their own again or something, but if LL end up staying in the CS (even though I'd hate it), I just hope that the fact that it was hers with Chris, and how Luke feels about that, is mentioned.

I too hate the fact that Christopher moved into the CS and benefited from all the renovations that Luke did, including sleeping in and defiling his bed. Luke didn’t even get much time to enjoy living in the CS after all the time, effort and money he invested in it.

With all the money that Christopher has, the brief time that LC were married and the intent to reunite LL in the end, you think the writers would have made them move into Christopher’s place so that the CS would always have a special significance to Luke. During their brief marriage, Lorelai hardly interacted with the town as most of her time was spent joined to Christopher’s hip so it wouldn’t have been a far stretch to see them living at his place and imagine her commuting back and forth to the DFI when we actually saw her there (which was rare this season).

However, when you think about it Christopher should have been the one that felt uncomfortable moving in with Lorelai and sleeping in the same bed and bedroom that she slept in with Luke. It was Luke’s first, after all. He was the first man that Lorelai ever wanted to sleep with in her bed and live with. Luke will just be reclaiming what was his to begin with (after some thorough cleansing of course). I just hope they change the bed and the sheets (permanently this time).

They can burn the bed, but they can't remove what was done in that room, or in any other room for that matter.

But Sassy, is it ok to report about what is going on before it happens , it wont junks us getting a S8 right?

Don't worry. My Friend has been very circumspect regarding the negotiations. A lot has been happening on the negotiations front for the the last 2 1/2 or 3 weeks but I was asked not to share the informatiion since the timing was delicate. I respected that request.

I am looking to My Friend for guidance regarding what information she/he feels I should reveal on the threads and so far the guidance has been sound.
