Well with Max in "The Big One" it was Rory and Sookie who told her she treated Max so bad. I know the two situations are not the same but we can all agree that she did treat Luke badly in Partings.

I agree it will probably not come up out side what Lorelai tells Luke in HBM.

Oh there's no doubt that Lorelai treated Luke like crap by sleeping with Dopey. But he wasn't an angel either.

But I just don't think they would focus on that now with the season is almost over. If they wanted to focus on that at all, it should have been in either 701 or 702.

I agree. There is not much time left and I am guessing they will address some of those issues off screen.

Well I thought Rory or Sookie would have said something in the first few eps but they were kinda playing it like Lorelai did no wrong and Luke was bad to Lorelai, until they needed him to be good again (such is life as Lorelai's ex, look at Dopey!)

And Sookie's concerns were more focused on Lorelai's happiness versus Luke's, just like a BFOTB should be. This held true even through Sookie not wanting Lorelai to tell Luke about sleeping with Chris all the way through questioning if Chris would be "the one" even if there was no Luke.

I understand Sookie and Rory being on Lorelai side but I just feel something was missing, and no one was on his side, apart from TJ and Liz. Also when did Luke say no to the ultimatum? He didn't say a thing, which I agree in her mind was a no. Again I wonder if this will come up in HBM?

Some should have been on Luke's side or at least think about him and what he might feel. I mean she jumped Chris right after "breaking up" with Luke and neither Rory nor Sookie called her on that one. I would have thought that at least Rory would say something. I mean she knows best what Luke did for them and that he should deserve that from Lorelai.
Yes he hurt her mother but you know I felt like doesn't he mean nothing to you ?

But I can also somehow understand Luke. Lorelai was hiding for days and suddenly she comes to the diner and demands to elope right now. Luke has never been able to deal with spontaneous decisions. IMO Luke has never said no. He was just not able to move as fast as Lorelai. Him showing up the next the willing to elope shows that he never wanted to say no.

I don't want to blame one person more than the other. They were both wrong. Not able to communicate.

I really hope they will address these issues later this season. And not only off screen!

Same happened to me and I didn't want to ask on the MT cause it looks kind of peacefull there now. Guess we have t wait and see what this is all about.
