That is hilarious you should say that, because while I agree it was well written, I remember realizing there was no way that the horrible ending of Partings wasn't a foiler, based on that episode. To me, that is the episode where it all ended, in Lorelai's freaked out mind.

Well I agree it was the beginning of the end, Lorelai stopped talking. But Luke was being honest which might have been harsh but read between the lines and you see a scared guy worried he would lose April.

I think he'll do a good job, I just wish it was earlier in the season.

I read between the lines. And I read what Lorelai did. (I could see why they would break up, then. Even though I wanted her to say something.) I just find it interesting that here it is, a year later, and they are supposedly going to clear the air, or whatever. And the same guy is writing it. It just amuses me.

I wonder if the maze is moved, like in our earlier picture in the episode, (Like the townies acknowledge that it is moved.) or if it is just a perspective thing. Because the "bricks" are still on it, and it seems like moving it that way would acknowledge that the 100 year old gazebo has fake bricks. And I am so thinking about this too much. I wish they would popst the sides for Ms. Whatsherface.

I'm looking forward to the diner scene. I just hope I won't be disappointed.

SCPP is one of the few later S6 episodes I like to watch just cause I thought on most levels it was well-written, even if slightly heartbreaking. And it gave such a clear indication of where the season was going (well, maybe it was so clear b/c only 2 episodes to go, lol....).

Great pics, nst. That was my favorite episode of S3.

I'm hoping that DR will tell us in the L/L conversation exactly what Lorelai was feeling when she started dating Chris so soon, without getting over Luke. She didn't seem to be pining for Luke, or even in love with Luke, especially with the ILY's to you know who. I'm really interested in his explanation of how Lorelai's feelings changed so quickly.

I know that she was very hurt by him shutting her out, and thought the relationship was over, that he didn't love her. But it also seemed that she didn't love him in S7. How did she get over him so quickly? That's the question I want to see answered. My guess is that she convinced herself that she didn't love him, because he had hurt her. In fact, perhaps she really didn't love him, because of how he treated her over April. I know it wasn't just Luke's fault, however, I'm trying to get into Lorelai's mind (scary!). Perhaps he hurt her so much that she fell out of love with him?

Wasn't there one time where the MT was shut down but not the shipper threads? Or is my memory going in my old age?

I remember when all the threads where shut down, people congregated in the LG spoiler thread and FB. I just lurked around here back then.

I hope we get some DEFINITE news soon about S8.

And the regular unspoiled GG threads where everyone tried to talk 'in code' kinda and really was unfair to all the unspoiled people.

So I watched NickNora/SidNancy, 'cause I thought it would be classic and watching LL fight over Jess, even though it was resolved in the same ep, was upsetting to watch. Though, Lorelai bribing the kid to go into the diner and get her a danish was just classic. And then Luke coming to the CS to make up and telling her 'he'll see her in the diner tomorrow', I'm so ready for them to be fixed!

I migrated to FB and sadly I always promised myself I would participate more often there, but it's so hard to keep up with more than one fandom.

I don't think she did. I think she "moved on" without actually dealing with the break-up. That's what she was saying in 7.14 IMO. I don't think we'll ever know with 100% certainty how Lorelai was feeling. I think her emotional instability prevents it from being understood with rational thought.

I doubt it. I don't think the Townies know what Lorelai did after the ultimatum. They only know that she started to see Chris soon after and that they eloped. I think the townies are just happy that she's okay.
