I'm with you on that one. DSR has re-written stuff but I doubt he'll change much between Luke and Lorelai. Yes the ending of this season will change - well duh he needs some stuff for season 8

Yep. Agree. But in case we don't get a s8 I want them together soon. Just so I can enjoy them for longer than 5 minutes of 722. But I believe we will get a good, romantic, sappy reconciliation. Just the way I like it!

I feel like it's been a long time since I haven't had to fast forward to any scenes during an epi, and this episode, I think marks the very first one this season!

I loved it all....the Lorelai/Lane/Mrs. Kim interaction, drunk Logan, concerned Townies, Liz/TJ/Luke, Lane/Rory, Lorelai/Rory and the LL scene at the end... The Luke/April convo was too long IMO, but I guess it had to be done. By the way, Lulu looked different. It's the same actress, right?

Oh and Lorelai's look at the end when she's looking at the birthday cake scene, did it seem that she was really looking at Luke dancing/swaying to the music? Did it seem like his actions just validated him saying that things change because of the dancing/swaying?

Hi all! It warms my heart to see all the happiness on the thread today. My heart was pounding during the L&L scene last night. I really didn't know what to make of it but reading all your positive thoughts made me feel better. I felt sort of sad after the scene myself.
