This whole babyshower SL doesn't excite me. Mrs. Kim, Sookie, and Gypsy will probably be hilarious, but why couldn't they have done this SL sometime between ep. 3 and 14 to rid us of lots of CL for one ep and have a good old fashion GG? At this point, it's so frustrating that the progress of the couples and Rory/Lorelai/Gilmores is being put on hold when there's most likely only 6 eps after this to wrap everything up.

And it's a sweeps episode right ? I'm not sure what to make of it. I guess it will be funny but I really dislike Lane's storyline. The whole baby thing just bugs me

@Craig - yeah I think there is a limit on the downloads but I can upload any time again. It's faster than Chris and more successful

So Craig or anyone else, now that you've had a chance to view the Global promo can you tell if Mrs. Kim says "sand boxes" to Lorelai? If not, I will need to update the transcript.

Yeah, it seems like a strange sweeps ep. Sweeps usually involve couples coming together or breaking up, so we had that for eps. 13 and 14, but last week and this week are far from sweeps eps to me.

I'm sure it'll be funny, I just feel like it'll be wasting one of the seven hours of GG we probably have left.

It's a boarded round square area with sand in it. Kids usually play in it with toy shovels and pails.

Because Katie, they had to really concentrate on the Christopher/Lorelai story so we would understand why "it just wasn't right" in the end. You know, in case anyone didn't already know that from friggin' Season 2.

As far as Luke and Lorelai go, we should be happy DR is giving us these great storylines about secondary characters and old friends from Season One because otherwise how will we know what's going on with L/L? Since god forbid, we can't see Luke and Lorelai actually having a storyline about themselves. Everyone else has to do it for them.

What bugs me is the promos are misleading, looks like a last minute birth to end the week but no we know that is not gonna happen. So will this weeks eps end up being boring and like last week without direction?

Then next week they girls have a road trip to Mia for her wedding and the critics at TV Guide couldn't even remember who she was, or what season, will most fans remember or care.

Some of the SLs sound like fun but if you take a close look they tend to be boring and lacking imagination or originality.

Damn I'm being a tough critic today!

I know what a sand box is, we have one for a nephew in the back yard, I just though it might also be a kids game.

OT: Studio 60 fans? Yes I don't trust Wrongda but check out her video on eonline. Says that if the Black Donnelly's does better than S60 it will be canceled. TBD are a lot a cheaper to produce. Also that it would have been canceled months ago but Sorkin has a clause in his contract which means it would have been just as expensive to cancel as to keep it on the air. BOO!

I am staying optimistic about the week. I do think we'll get a L/L scene. They need to start moving forwards and that talk in 718 can't be the first time they talk. Wouldn't make sense to me.

I think there has to be something up their sleeves in terms of the next two episodes. They have to give us some kind of cliffhnager for the hiatus.

The promos aren't even captivating for this episode though. I mean if I was just a casual viewer and caught the promo where they are pushing Lane down the street in the bed I'd probably think "Ha, funny" not "Hey, I have to watch that!" There are no teases about any couples or anything interesting about the main characters. Townie episodes are fun, but usually not the center of the episode. If there are townie events, usually the focus is on Lorelai or Rory and what happens to them at the event. ATAT had major Rory/Lorelai relationship stories. So did TSGDT? and AHINAH. All have something townie related, but the town event isn't the main storyline. So this episode seems..blah. I just hope it's not another TLOLD.
