Ok.. just found this.. It might not be news but I haven't read it before:

IMO the song thing was pretty obvious, it was like a high school english class as far as that symbolism was concerned! But other stuff...maybe other people don't notice it because they aren't looking for it like we are? Maybe only one thing gets through for every couple of things we pick up. So then the non-obsessed are all, "oh!" while we are all, "duh!"

I'm rambling as well!

I still think the wormhole is the maze. It seems to be the first time that LL have a real interaction.

I'm a bit confused.

First we got the spoiler that they removed the boat from Lorelai's garage to work on it. Then we got to know that Liz and TJ want to sell the boat. Now the boat is back in Lorelai's garage.

Does it mean that Luke moved the boat out of Lorelai's garage off screen after their break up, brought it to Liz and TJ's house and now that they are selling it he moves it back to Lorelai's place ?

If he never moved it out of Lorelai's garage why would Liz want to sell it ? But why didn't they show us he moved the boat out ? And when did he move it ? That means he must have had contact with Lorelai at one point or he just moved it like in season 5 without her knowledge. The chuppah was gone all of sudden as well so maybe they did the same with the boat. But if the boat comes back into play again I think he goes to Lorelai and asks her if he can bring back the boat. Do they do the same thing with the chuppah ? But who moved it in the first place ? And who puts it back there ?

I don't want to wait till ep.18 for an LL interaction.

I'm really curious if they are going to show the boat back in Lorelai's garage or it was there just for storage purposes.

Lots of progress can be made with a few words at a time. It would be private place to talk but yet the boat would be a good excuse so that it isn't about them.
We know Luke has to move the boat and that he will be fixing it up for the summer. Seems like Lorelai might offer her garage.

I like that but could we be that lucky?

IMO it's just being stored there on the set but I hope Luke's boat is in Lorelai garage and she comes over a lot to work on it!

I don't consider what they were doing last night to be anvils - they were all so obvious - it was all right out in the open - nothing subtle about any of it.

I'm really worried they don't know how to write Luke - they have taken out what made the character so interesting and compelling for me - just because he has April and is closer to his family doesn't erase someone's cynicism and his wit...the dialogue they are given him stinks -

Sassy'a report about her lunch with SP said he told her he hadn't yet worn the blue hat so who knows if that will show up again.

I'm really bitter that they had Luke learn offscreen about the C/L break up. That was a lost moment if there ever was one and I don't know if they didn't realize it would be a good moment for fans or if they just didn't know how to write it.

I know Liz cares about her big brother but how much nicer it would have been if she had shown up because she was really concerned about him being lonely now that April is gone versus coming because they needed to stay with him. Bleah.

If they don't step up their game with the writing, I'm thinking I'm gonna be pretty disappointed and bored when they do get L/L on the screen at the same time - I'm expecting now to have a really lame conversation in 7.18 given the way they are progressing.

I think I'm compounding my mistake with watching this show while watching the season four reruns at the same time - Luke has had such meaty scenes throughout all of season four and it is hard to believe this is even the same character.

Based on what TJ said last night (about hospitals) it looks like they are setting it up for LL to be at the hospital together for Lane in 7.17. I really hope that happens and that it's a great scene.

Well like a lot of things they showed us during the break up, Luke getting his stuff, the ring, the $30k how much Luke spent on the CS...

IMO he moved the boat and it's been sitting at his sisters, for some reason the need it gone so try to see it, maybe they this it reminds Luke or Lorelai too much? Or they just need the space.

I hope he asks to but it back into Lorelai's garage to work on it, another symbol?

Anvils aren't supposed to be subtle. They're supposed to be obvious. Which I guess kind of defeats my "who sees them post." But anvils are supposed to be like an eye sore.. you seem them because they are right out in the open. DR doesn't know how to do subtle. He just knows how to throw out anvils that also have a big neon light flashing at them saying "In Case You Didn't See It - That Was An Anvil!" I think he thinks he's being subtle, but he's not.

Yes, they got a van to travel to the shows with....they mentioned the Javits Center in NYC

Liz repetead her wormhole theory again yesterday for a reason. And Luke's look (awwww....) while lying in the dark and his next scene when he looks on the phone - but he doesn't call?

I truly believe that the maze is their wormhole. I'm not saying they won't meet before that - God I'm craving for Lorelai to enter the Diner before 7.18 airs! - but the first significant talk seems to be the maze thing.

Oh and Mots you said you had a dream about the maze being pivotal for LL and AFTER you posted your dream description, the spoiler about the pivotal scene in the maze came out...
