yes, I do. I rarely watch the first one of the trilogy unless I'm doing a S4 marathon. Which i do farely often since it's my favorite season.

Not, that's when you fastforward or just turn it off.

I think I'll just watch the LL parts. I rarely ever watch the full episodes unless it is the first viewing.

My disc 6 of season 4 was stuck in my DVD player last month. It started loading and then it just shut off. My dad had to take apart my whole DVD player just to get the disc out. And thankfully the disc wasn't ruined. I think my DVD player died cause I watched too much GG.

It definitely makes it tough. Sometimes I'll try to watch LCSHF earlier in the night and then put on the last disk to go to sleep to.

Speaking of...I think I will do that now. Or perhaps go straight to LWFTWT to save time...

Goodnight, all!

I was so bored last summer, I took all my GG DVD's and basically made my own LL highlights discs.

Glad to know I'm not the only one who watches the LL scenes over and over lol. I can never watch them just once.

I was watching with a friend. I couldn't FF, because she is still unpacking from a move. The box with the remotes? Yeah. It could be anywhere. And I still get infuriated every single time Rory throws the season 2 hook-up with Chris in Lorelai's face. Now she could do it, but then? GAH! But the salad look almost makes up for that. You know what actually does though? "I'm not taken!" I just love the way she says that. Love that whole scene. It makes up for having to sit through Rory pissing me off.

AND she was wrong anyway - Chris wasn't engaged to Sherry, and neither of them knew Sherry was pregnant when they slept together. Drives me nuts every time I hear it.

Carry on...

As does what Lorelai is still saying now about Luke not wanting to marry her and not opening up to her.

Hello Mrs Pot this is the Kettle!

I hope the opeing up in ep 18 is good and I hope something leads up to that, maybe they have a fight before and this is them clearing the air and saying sorry finally. I know they had the fight in ep 2 but I just think there needs to be another one to clear things up.

That didn't bother me. It's not as if Lorelai said it would be fixed in a week. And since she thinks she and Luke will never re-unite, it would be pathetic for her to believe that Luke is the only man she'll ever truly love. And that she'll spend the rest of her life pining away for him. She's not Miss Havisham(sp?). And like she even said in SS, she's not "that girl." Honestly? I think her feelings for Luke WOULD go away with time if she never re-united with him. I don't believe in soulmates.

I'm about to watch I Get a Sidekick Out of You...why am I doing this to myself?

I don't think her feelings would go away, Sarah. I believe in soul mates, but I reserve the right to change my opinion as I get older Still, I think there are certain people you never stop loving. And thanks for the throwback to 9th grade English class!

I don't think she'd ever stop loving Luke completely. But I also don't think that she could never ever be happy with anyone else. Or at least, I think Lorelai(right now) feels that she could eventually get over Luke.

ETA: I've actually never read that book. LOL

I think that the point of this sl is that it would never go away. Its not about soulmates its about really putting your heart 100% into something and after luke i think it would have taken a long long time to do it again not because of Luke per se but because she's afraid to do it.
