Well I'll probably have the transcript done in a few hours, about 3 days before I was planing.

IMO the thing is Lorelai admitting her mistake with the marriage, but I'm wondering will the fight come up again, I was surprised Chris bought it up and half expected Lorelai to go into the diner and rip into Luke, well at least that would count as a visit, maybe a hung over Lorelai will go to see Luke?

I think for their characters it would be strange if they would only say "I'm so sorry" "Yeah I am sorry too". They fought for 5 seasons with passion whenever they clashed and in that case that never happened. I think they need it to clear the air

Thanks for the transcript, Lancer.

Continuity was especially wacky in this episode, inner (programs, ring) and long term lapses (speed dial). But, all is forgiven and forgotten. IMO, it was a good, well written episode as was the acting.

Thanks Sassy, for sharing your full SP lunch date recap. So much fun should be illegal.

BTW, you totally convinced me. I hope SP was convinced, too, not that he can do much, even if there were enough time and a season eight. But, doesn't hurt to hope.

Episode 7.18 - Have they even started shooting that? I know it's already written, including stage directions, but still, a little affectionate comforting between LL isn't too much to expect, is it, and can still be added, can't it? When Luke came to the inn to ask for the character reference, he lightly touched her leg, thanking her.

I wonder in general, given what we've seen TPTB display with L/C this year, whether we'll see more physical affection between LL if they get back together.

Lorelai saying that she did everything she could to make it work with Luke still makes me believe she is completely not in touch with her part in this mess. She did not do everything to make it work.

Had she bothered to sit down and talk it out with him and let Luke know what she was feeling and that the relationship was in trouble, they likely would have been able to make it work. And, if Luke still continued to shut her out, then I would be okay with saying she did everything she could.

But this one line still really bugs me because I had hoped we would now see that she has acknowledged her role in the break down of the relationship - so, I'm kinda annoyed with her still.

Is it intense as in heated or intense as in intensely awkward? Or intense as in dramatic? I'm not trying to be smart at all, I'm just curious and questioning out loud (maybe even rhetorically really) how the word intense applies to the scenerio.

I'm sure looking at the divx copy Lorelai is NOT wearing the ring after the music shop in the way to Luke's but in the last 2 scene here hand is hidden so I can't tell, so was this a wardrobe error which would be huge considering she has worn it for 7 eps at that point or did she take it off?

I email MA, bet we don't get an answer.

I agree, Lorelai is still putting the blame on Luke, maybe if they fight he might tell her just what happened and how she stuffed up. Maybe this can happen before 18?

Maybe later, we can only hope.

He.. never to early for sarcasm like Mots said. Blame it on the flu medicine!

On another note, can't wait for next week.

Babette and Miss Patty back and Emily and Lorelai getting drunk. Now all I need is some Luke action and preferably some L/L action and I'll be a happy camper!
