Where did y'all see a flicker of Real!Lorelai? I can't pinpoint an exact place.

It was mutual. They came to an understanding. It was sad, to me anyway, because Lorelai really wanted this to work. She wanted to really be in it. She knew it was wrong though. And Chris knew it was wrong too because it took 20 years for her to ever say yes to him.

And, lets face it, she still loves Luke. Always will. Always has.

OT: So my roommate's brother was getting all sucked into the new episode tonight and was thinking he was gonna be late to see his friends until I reminded him I was tivoing the episode and he told me if I ever told anyone about this he would deny it. I love it when boys get sucked into GG. He's an LL fan too. lol.

Okay. Why do I keep eating while I watch House? Seriously.

In her first meeting with Chris at the DFI. She didn't hold back and try and placate him. She came back at that moment. Then she left again when she kept saying she was "all in" in their next meeting at the CS lol.

Who'd thought it was a dog's funeral that would wake her up?

Please tell me im not the only one who started tearing up when Zach was playing the music for "My heart will go on." It was soo beautiful and than seeing Lorelai crying realizing her marriage is over with and that she cant just cut Luke out of her life was perfect. I obviously expected a bigger fight between CL but i think they knew they really werent worth fighting for anymore. It was over nights ago, it was wrong to begin with and i was soo happy Chris realized he shouldn't have pushed her. She was vulnerable and he used that to finally get her...never realizing that she isn't over Luke - a man thats been nothing but an angel to her for 10 years, who made one mistake.

Yeah, our Lorelai was there for a flash. It was amazing. Then she fell quickly back into denial. Then Sookie talked to her and we saw her again for a brief minute. Then she was lost again. And at the end we had a Lorelai mush. Hopefully the real Lorelai can come out of the mush.

I defiantly think it was the song, quite room with that music makes you think and she had a lot on her mind so it would only make sense that her breaking down could start to be shown there.

First she talked about Chris and how he wanted to marry her. Then she went on to say how great Luke was and how he built her an ice rink and everything... until he shut her out, didn't want to marry her, etc.

stephrox, it's not just you. Except I was tearing up thinking about Rose and Jack, not Lorelai, to be honest.

So, other than impatient, how did the episode make you feel overall? Did you liket he way that played out? Was it a good one for you?

So why do y'all think that Lorelai actually realized that she and Chris weren't right? I think it's open to interpretation.
