| Guess Im a hopeless sucker. I wont give up on anything until the episode has actually aired or someone confirms that such and such is not going to happen/ or is going to happen.  Could be the romantic fangirl in me or I'm just too naive  But I can see them waiting with anything real good concerning L/L just because it means they will go out on a high. | When is the exact date for sweeps? Cuz thats probably the episode we're gonna get our mindblowing reunion we all want. Im really curious how DR is going to get these two back together. They are both pretty steadfast in their current belief that the other no longer loves them...and im trying to wrap my brain around the series of events thats going to change that. Even when Luke hears she's divorced...I dont know that hes gonna be like "Sweet. Heres my chance to get her back". My dream scenario would be, Lorelai going to the diner late at night (perhaps after her girls only road trip) and laying it all out for Luke. Letting him know how she felt when April came in the picture...what drove her to the ultimatum, to Chris to begin with and that she married Chris because she thought her first choice, Luke, was unattainable. She understands that he doesnt love her...but she'll always love him and he is and always was more that just the man that pours her coffee. Luke stands there in stunned silence, Lorelai leaves the diner. Now, Luke could process things that night and make his move the next day..OR, we could show some growth in his character and he could run after her....they stop in the same spot they were at in Partings...he apologizes, says he loves her, blah blah blah...let the Java Junkies across the land rejoice. Huzzah!  (sorry about the long post, just wanted to get that all out. ) __________________ Come on down to Luke's. Where the motto is 'Eat it. Then Beat it.'  | |||

| Hee. Glad to see I'm not the only hopeless romantic out there. yzerluke19 thats how I would like to see it happen. I want it to be some cheesy over the top love sap (insert various romantic words here) reunion. But thats just me of course. | No reconciliation in the CS! But yes to shirtless Luke scenes! I'm still holding hope for the reconciliation to happen some episodes before 7.22 like 7.19 or 7.20. the latest! | I am still holding onto the fact that Luke managed to marry Nicole, plan a divorce, try to reconcile, then finally divorce AND have Lorelai and Luke get together at the end all in one season! Maybe they can do it again. The only difference, as someone said a few days ago here, is that Luke's melodrama was off camera. Huzzah! | Maybe I have missed this, but any sides yet about a lawyer for Lorelai and Christopher? Are we doing this off screen or.... is it possible.... just like she mentioned in TPD where Sookie asks what she wants in the wedding and she answers "well it should be legal"... Could we get SO LUCKY? | |||

| Whatever I feel about what ASP did to the show last year, I still have to admit I wonder how she would have played out this C/L thing. I wonder if she would have made it the centerpiece for more than half a season and had them marry. Not that it matters, but sometimes I do wonder. For me, it threw off the entire feel of the show - by having C/L fast forwarding to a marriage, they had to focus on their storyline way too much - to the detriment of the overall feel of the show. No Lorelai in the diner scenes has also been a huge shift in the dynamic of the show - it seemed like a strange thing to do to it so late in the game. The lack of Lorelai's interactions with the townies which also used to happen oftentimes in the diner has been virtually absent. Color me forever baffled by ASP's decision to alter the SH landscape so dramatically in its 7th and possibly last year. | |||

| I'm thinking they reconcile in the maze. Rory and April conspire to get them together (Logan's off with the whining kid), and when both Lorelai and Luke are down a dead-end leg of the maze, they block off the exit with hay bales and they're stuck.
