So that's for 7.17? Why are we getting things out of order all of a sudden? We barely just got a title for 7.16...

ETA: Interesting spec Mots. I only wish Luke would take her out in the boat...

Oh...so...7.16 is "Will You Be My Lorelai Gilmore?" I'm confused. Then the road trip ("Gilmore Girls Only" is 7.17) and that's the one before the hiatus?

Really wondering, because I agree with Mots and think that it would make sense to have the boat mean something for LL and have it be right before the hiatus. But...that's 7.16?

Very confused...

No the original information was incorrect the information above is correct with the title names. The episode description above is for 7.16 not 7.17.

Yes. 7.17 is the last episode before it breaks for a 5-6 week hiatus.

That is the ep. 16 description. Ep. 16 is Will you be my Lorelai Gilmore and has the shower. Then ep. 17 is GG's Only, with the road trip. The "Will you be my Lorelai Gilmore" title was taken from a call sheet, so they were probably filming something out of order or something.

I would be really surprised if there wasn't some LL movement in 7.17. It seems about the right time and it's right before hiatus. If L/R/E aren't gone for the entire ep, maybe Lorelai returns with a renewed spirit?

7.14 LC break up.

7.15 Chris moves out, Babette sees it. It's been specced that Luke hears about it from Babette or Liz and TJ.

7.16 could be a bit of a time jump, a couple of days. Luke is now done with his boat. He's probably been working on it the whole time LL have been seperated. Anyhoo, if Lorelai had not saved the boat, he'd have no boat to work on. Now that Chris is out of the picture and maybe because of something Lorelai says to Luke in 7.14 or 7.15, he thinks he/they may have a shot again. He gets up the courage to ask her to go out on the first ride in the boat because if it wasn't for her, he wouldn't have it. They go out, have a nice time, he asks if she thinks maybe they could try things again. Slowly even. Maybe just friends for now. He just wants her back in the diner and back in his life.

7.17 everyone needs time to process their individual life dealings. The episode can end with the girls getting back to Stars Hollow, Lorelai seeing the chuppah when they arrive home (cue scene from S2) and this time going to the diner and saying yes, they should try something - friends/anything - again.

We go into our long hiatus having to wait even more to finally see LL patch things up.

7.18 will start with a time jump where LL have bonded again. When we see them, things will be back to normal and things will move rather quickly until the finale where they either get married or engaged.

The end.

I LOVE THE SOUND OF THIS!!! BUT...is it realistic? Remember, in Luke's mind she cheated on him with Christopher. Would he be willing to jump back in so fast?

If they both come to terms with what they both did wrong in the relationship that led to that awful night/following morning, then it's possible. And Luke is going to have to make the first move romantically since most here believe Lorelai doesn't believe that Luke even loves her anymore.

And really.. what on GG lately has been realistic?

Works for me. Sadly the writers don't ask our opinion.
