So after watching the dc twice (which btw is cute and funny) and rewatching the recorded promo on my tivo about 20 times...in very slowmo and zooming in and out repeatedly...here is my vote on the ring: She is definitely wearing it at the Inn and definitely not wearing it outside of Luke's! That doesn't clarify the order of everything...but I am very confident that the ring is gone!

ETA: New R/L lines. The only new part about C/L is this:

Lorelai: There are feelings there...but if that's all there was, we could fix it...with time.
Chris: But it's not...

IMO it looks like these words run together (no splicing) - but I guess we won't know until next week.

My guess now is that Lorelai tells dopey that if the only problem of their marriage were her feeling for Luke they could fix it with time but it's not only that. Also i think that scene is the end of the episode.

I know i will be disappointed by it i'm almost certain. Because from what it looks we will get a crying Lorelai telling dopey about the "man she wants to want" and the scene will fade to black as seen in the promo. Then in ep.15 we will see the truck and we will know that they break up.

Unfortunately this is what i think will happen. And dopey will not once again be called for his stupidity. Sigh

Yep, I think the L/C scene is the last as well.

And are they serious? was that all there is to the TA story??? I would not be surprised if it is..

so maybe she hands the ring back and then goes for a walk, which could be the next morning?

I think I'm going to lose it during this CL scene. I'm getting all choked up for both of them just watching the promo. How is the end of CL making me cry. This is evil. I should be happy dancing, not feeling awful for them.

I really must be dead inside. I was one who defended Lorelai all summer long. I logically know how this happen, yet I have grown to so loathe Christopher, that I really don't care if this hurts him so badly his heart literally cracks in half---as long as it cracks in half in the wonderful land of Offscreenia. You know, the place where he and Rory developed this wonderful relationship last year? I am so sick of this storyline that here we are at the end of it, and I just don't care. I feel like the annoying kid on this "journey", asking if we are there yet. Because I don't actually think her "journey" started until about 15 minutes before the end of the last episode. Which means I could have skipped 12.45 episodes. At least then I wouldn't have had to see his smirking face, or had to listen to his bad jokes. GAH. HATE.
