Sounds like Emily using Luke as some sort of errand boy who works for her - so, nothing has changed there.
I knew Luke would say something about not wanting to intrude or make anyone uncomfortable....he's just that kinda guy. Stupid stupid Lorelai. Glad I'm not her standing there wondering what the hell I did with my life by walking away from the guy especially while her husband is missing in action....

Rory and Logan still at the hose packing things to take to Richard. Pack up some records (jazz and classical, ) and a turntable. Rory is taking some games (cards, backgammon) to play and clothes for her grandmother. Rory thanks Logan for helping her. Logan says there’s no place he’ll rather be and she doesn’t have to thank him

Lorelai is in the gift store trying to find something to buy for her dad. Emily comes in with the forms from the Lawyer. Loreali doesn't want to discuss anything about the wills with Emily. Emily tells Lorelai that six years ago she and Richard made a plan not to be unprepared and that’s what she is ding. Lorelai is angry. She tells her that dad could be dying and she’s concerned about legal matters. Emily says to Lorelai “What do you know about being a wife”?, She tells her has been married to Richard for over 40 years. She tells her that what she does for Richard and that he’s her whole life and she could lose him and there’s nothing she can do about it. She starts to cry and Lorelai gives her a klenex. Emily is shocked that Lorelai gives her a Klenex from a package she picked up and didn’t buy from the gift store. Lorelai tells her not to worry about it, she’ll pay for it later.
