Lorelai, Rory and Emily anxiously await word on Richard's condition. Will he pull through?

When Logan hears what about Richard, he borrows a helicopter to be with Rory.

Lorelai is stunned by Emily's attempt to remain calm by dealing with her social calendar.

Luke shows up unannounced and volunteers to run errands for Emily, making Lorelai very happy....and a little shocked.

Still reeling over their fight the night before, Christopher finally comes to the hospital, but the commotion is more than he can take.

I saw the extended promo while I was flipping through channels today. It actually made me go "Oooh!" I don't know when the last time a promo actually made me long for a Tuesday night. Let's hope it stays that way.

And lets hope the commercials are good during the Superbowl.

Maybe the girls/Emily/Luke have heard that Richard is going to be okay and they are exuberantly being happy about it - hugging, whatever and this is the "commotion" Chris witnesses....well, one can hope.

Maybe I'm just a cynic, but I still think the commotion is nothing big(a hug at the most). And Chris simply acts like the baby that he is.

i wasn't even expecting that much, just like the sight of them all standing in Richard's room or something would be enough for him.. the word 'commotion' just seems like a funny word to use.

The 'commotion'? I'm thinking like Sara here. I still think that Chris comes upon something small with LL. Maybe 'commotion' implies that they're all happy about Richard, but the only thing that'll really get Chris is if he witnesses something involving LL.

Well given his reaction to the letter all bets are on what even he sees it must be between L&L but maybe just maybe he finally gets it, the letter was not about Luke it was about Rory, so maybe he see Luke comforting Rory or hears Rory talking about Luke being "father like" and doesn't like what he hears.

I really hope Rory gets to read the letter!

Is anyone a little sad we are not more than half way through the season and they are about to shoot ep 17, so only have 6 more to do and it might be all over

Heh. Me too. But I do think commotion is an odd word choice. Unless...You know when I really hate commotions? When I have a hangover. Heh.

That's a good spec. Christopher walks in and they've just received news that Richard's doing well so they're all hugging. Maybe Luke is hugging Rory? Or Emily? LOL jk. I like this spec because it doesn't make Christopher look like a cold-hearted ass by leaving the hospital when they are all clearly in pain; they'll be happy, instead.

Episode 13 is in two days? What? I can't believe it! Although, I was more excited about it way back when, because it was labeled as the "epiphany" episode. Now we await the "Luke and Lorelai get back together" episode.

ETA: I might get to go on a tour in mid March during my Spring Break!!! My mom and sister want to go to Disney Land and they are begging me to come...so I said I'll go if I can go on a tour.
