I hear you...it's hard to tell. I've only watched it twice, but will watch it again (obviously) in a moment.

I just wanted to say to keep in mind that even if her reaction is not exactly the way it was edited in the promo, we know that Chris gets mad and leaves the house. He's not going to be driven to leave if she seems like she is honestly over Luke.

Just bringing the optimism, because that's what I've been telling myself as well.

Anyone else notice that when Lorelai is walking away from the mail box she is walking directly towards the Twickham house? Pretty much looking right at it. I thought LG played the coming down the stairs, into the kitchen, to the mail box scene very nicely. It's been awhile since we got a good face acting scene. That one and the one in the Discovery store were awesome.

Ha. "Luke was like a father to Rory."

Hey and didn't someone spec the snowing at the mailbox thing?

AFter that , I get confused... I believe we have Lane uber pregnant in the diner. A couple asks her is she is having twins. She makes a crack that she might not be pregnant but a heavy set girl with the heavy centered in the belly. They give her an uncomfortable luke and she retorts that she is pregnant.

April walks in takes off her helmet. Luke smiles cause he is super happy that she is here. She explains how she had this elaborate plan to convince her mom that she was at a museum (and the nattering continues...cute but there's no way I can recall it word for word) They agree to go upstairs and hav sandwhiches and exchange their presents...april's is wrapped in some nasty duct-tape.

ETA:

I forgot Lorelai tries to write the letter. Some funky music plays as she tries to do it...and she goes to sookie about it....sookie says it must be hard cause she has to drudge up all her luke feelings....and lorelai says there are no luke feelings...but that so much is riding on her letter (this after the luke dfi scene--I think)

I did notice that and I almost died. I was like, "the TH? Anvil! Anvil!" but them my mind forgot it as I watched the amazing promo.

So I'm assuming that I'm A Kayak, Hear Me Roar has to do with I Am Woman, Hear Me Roar.

I was thinking.. what if it's Lorelai coming to her senses, deciding she isn't going to stay down any longer and she declares her feelings to Luke. In a grand fashion.. gestures..etc. They go camping. Ya know, hence the Kayak.

Or ooooh.. what if she has the boat finished and gives it to him?

Well, I didn't actually have gelato. I had mango sorbet which was quite yummy too and still Ciaobella sorbet. You'll have to ask copperboom about the gelato. I beleive she had some of the strawberry.
