If your reasons are personal and can’t be discussed, then I respect that. But why post about how you like him, especially on an LL thread, if you won’t or can’t discuss it? How should other posters react? We also have feelings.

As I’ve said before, I have fundamental reasons to hate Christopher. For me, redemption of the show would start with his character – just once – actually paying for his mistakes, instead of letting everyone suffer while he gets off with just “grasping it”.

It's about more than which dude is hotter; this show was better than that. His character destroyed it in ways that even splitting LL never could. He’s also tainted their eventual reunion, though I keep hoping for a miracle there.

Guess I’m basically saying, if we can’t discuss it, then is it fair to post it? Perhaps we should continue this by PM?

Caf, Just part of my thinking is this: Chris loves Lorelai, and no guy should ever have to find out that his wife, who he's been in love with for 20+ years, and who has told him that she loves him over and over, doesn't love him, never did and that he's just her second choice. I know I've said this before, but I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Yes, he should pay for the mistakes he's made as far as Rory and hurting Lorelai, but he shouldn't have to suffer even more things on top of that. And, yes, perhaps a PM later.

I have to watch GG after Idol because I'm tivo-ing GG so I can re-watch and rewatch and rewatch...if that makes any sense. Is someone going to narrate as it airs? I don't really know how this works.

There will probably be a Play-by-play on the MT that describes every scene around 8 (so in 15 minutes). And we all here will of course give our commentary and reactions during the ep as well.

Yep When I have 2 things to watch I usually record the one I might want to watch again so more sense to record GG.

as for the PBP I think they are just doing a one post recap in about 15 minutes on the MT, about all they are good for lately

My local CW affiliate chooses not to broadcast any programs in HD. It's the same for the local Fox affiliate. I would think that if the program is available in HD, it should automatically be broadcast that way. But maybe there are some techie issues that I don't know about.

Thanks for the spoiler Cappucino! 7.12 sounds like a corker. There are going to be so many different emotions involved when Luke hears the letter. He’ll realise they’re supposed to be together but that big dunderheaded husband will still be in the way. He’ll be happy about the April decision but he won’t to be able to express how he feels about the letter because Lorelai is still another guy’s wife.

Any Canadians around to give us a quick thumbs up/thumbs down review on the ep so far?

(And thanks for the tour info copperboom – I managed to miss you out yesterday)

And I like that they made a point to say that it hasn't snowed. Something has to happen with that.
