Yeah, I'd watch, but it wouldn't be GG, it would be that "lorelai's diner" that LG mocked and said that she never wanted the show to become in her interview with MA from the EA set.

The thing I keep thinking with MM is that by Rory's graduation she'll be really far along, and she has to be there. But why would it have been so hard to just hid her stomach, keep her out of a few eps? I dunno. Way too much baby this year. But hey, maybe this will finally be the baby that gets Lorelai thinking about what she wants with Luke. Since Doula and Lane's twins seem to have failed us there.

and Poor Rory, too. She's totally bonding with her dad and gigi and is really happy having them there. This won't end pretty, imo.

What are the chances that Christopher confronts Rory and asks if she saw Luke in the same light as Lorelai, as a father? I'm not so sure that Rory will be upset with Lorelai for the letter or for what it says. She may be a bit angry that she let Christopher find it like he did having just gone through the Lucy thing, but I don't think she'll argue with her about following her true feelings and being happy. That's all Rory wants -- are her parents to be happy. I'm sure it's great having her parents married, but if it's only a pretend marriage, if it's just a marriage of convenience, what's the point? Wouldn't it be better for her to have a strong relationship with both parents on their own than to have to deal with them if they're straining to have a marriage?

I don't know about Rory not forgiving Lorelai. After all, her own father (Chris) doesn't bother to show up at the hospital to be there for his own daughter - Rory. I would think, in real life, a daughter would be pretty upset by that lack of support while her grandfather is in the hospital. Whether they even highlight this aspect of Chris' absence at the hospital is anyone's guess.

But most discussion has been around Chris not being there for Lorelai - which is bad enough, but also, for me, not being there for Rory is unforgiveable.

So, maybe she will understand her mother's behavior - I guess we will see.

Exactly, a friend of mine has all hell breaking loose whenever her parents are thrown together. Not all kids wants or needs their parents to be together, what matters is that her parents are there for her, but I'm still waiting to see Chris do his share in that department. And if he walks out of her life, just because he's out of Lorelai's life, then I think maybe, finally Rory will sto wanting him there.

Just because she is mad at her mother, doesn't preclude her being mad at Christopher. Based on her behaviour this year, I am speccing that she will be mad at Christopher for not being there, but she will blame Lorelai. "If you hadn't hidden the truth/letter/blahblahblah, Dad wouldn't have screwed up." I am not calling for a major rift or anything, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it play out that way.

I never said that Rory woud end up being mad at her father. Although I haven't seen a change much in their relationship this season. They don't seem to be any closer. They seem to have the same relationship they always had.

God, I so loved this epi, but I actually wondered about something concerning the spoilers:

It asid that Lorelais epiphany, awakening, whatever you want to call it will happen in epi 7.13. But by Lorelais facial expression, especially at the end, when she send the letter, I would say she already woke up, but isn't just ready for the final straw and end this whole marriage joke then and there.
For me it looks like she already admitted to herself in this epi what Luke means to her

yeah, i don't think that rory would be mad about the letter because it is true. and she wasn't all thrilled about the relationship from the begining.

anyone got an idea for a new title
