L/L with a baby works for me. I'd love for AB to stay, but if she only does a few eps that means more E/R. Grandma Emily would be FABULOUS! She would drive Lorelai insane. hee. Pregnant Lorelai would be a hoot and April could live with L/L.

I'm in the minority, I guess. It's not GG without Rory. (I can't believe that's really on the table.) I don't think I want S8 even with Rory. I've never wanted to see LL once they had a baby. I wanted to see a little bit of LL settling into living together. (I think that could've been a riot. They've both lived without another adult for 20+ years. I've lived alone for 10 and God help anyone who puts the Tupperware in the wrong place!) The concept of Lorelai ending the show pregnant (but not showing) used to appeal to me since it would create the contrast with the 16 year-old pregnancy which defined her. But I'd rather have none of that than have it feel rushed. I just hope for a well-written back half of S7 where LL will end together and Rory finds a good starter job.

I´d also love a S8 with only 13 eps.....as long as it has LL married with baby...

The two ways I wanted a baby SL to go was either to show the start or the whole thing and end with the birth, I never wanted a "half pregnancy" so the show ending with Lorelai 4-5 months along, it would feel undone or incomplete.

Maybe they could find a cousin to take Rory's place, what are the actors on The OC doing next season? I always liked Rachel Bilson and think she looks a little like Lorelai

Luke and Lorelai being married at least by the end of the season makes sense to me. I've always thought that when they reunited, that it would be IT. Chris is gone for Luke worrying. Lorelai married him and she still ended up leaving him because it didn't work and with Luke. This is the only reason I could take Chris and Lorelai, and that was hardly any. THey did everything they could do with them together and it simply didn't work like her and Luke did.

Anyway I don't see them taking their time. It would make sense for them to reunite and then go right away into getting married, neither of them want to wait any longer. Its been enough!

So I wonder what will happen to the spoiler about Lorelai breaking up with Chris thinking Luke doesn't love her. I guess that happens. Right now we know Luke thinks he is good enough for Lorelai, it sounds like Lorelai might still love Luke, now we just need Miss Patty to lock these town in the dance hall and let them have it out

I think once they realize each others feelings things will move along quickly. I just feel for the kids, Rory has her dad for the first time and Gigi has her new mum, how are they gonna cope?

bet we will probably never see Gigi after next week. I just hope they have something about Rory's feelings. And also her feeling for Luke as her "father figure" like Lorelai says in the letter or the closest thing to one.

Me too, Craig. I hope it's ALL addressed: Rory's feelings, Gigi's feelings, heck E&R's feelings, and most importantly, why and how this is all happening. We're going on our instinct -- that Lorelai loves Luke and made a mistake by marrying Christopher -- but will she ever state this? Explain it to someone? Make it clear to the viewer?

And at the risk of upsetting the people who strongly strongly dislike Christopher, I still don't see how the groundwork for his demise is being laid. It certainly was in episode 10, but now? Unless he's just completely irrational and immature in ep 12 -- which he may very well be -- it doesn't make sense to me why Lorelai would come to this big realization in ep 13. Over a few fights and him not showing up at the hospital? It's terrible not to show up, but does it warrant a divorce? I get that he wasn't a great dad to Rory, but that hasn't seemed to surface yet. Maybe it will in the next two episodes? I just don't see the whole picture, I guess. I can't wait for CL to be over, but it seems like it's going to be more of a *bing bang badaboom* than a carefully planned SL.

I don't know. I'm confused.
