I knew Sookie would be pregnant. Mm hmm.

While the LL news is good to read, I don't think it's less than what I expected for a series end. But I'd buy a S8 with a LL centered story. Yeah, I'm a sucker.

MARRIED AND PREGNANT!!!!!

comes true

If someone can (cuz i have no time), please add more lyrics to the "Let it Snow" song, and let it be a rocking great song about Chris's kick outta town.

The C/L marriage MUST"VE BEEN FAKE! (Or Annulled) FAKE!!

ETA: I'm upset by the possible plans to go ahead on season 8 without Rory. They can't do it...Lauren Graham, PLEASE convince your costar to sign her new contract. I find the alternative very...I don't know...dangerous show-wise?

aren't we all?

No offense, but with the slight amount of screentime that Sookie even gets these days... did they really have to 'deal' with MM's pregnancy? There's a really good change that with a well placed bushel of peaches and some big boiling pots no one would have noticed.

David Rosenthal is seriously considering ending the season (or series?) with Lorelai and Luke not only married but expecting a baby.
Hmm, that's going to have to be some humdinger of a timeskip between 7.21 (which I assume will be Rory's graduation) and 7.22.

Thanks for AA, withbatedbreath.

I wouldn't mind an 8th season that was focused on LL and their baby.

I don't even know what to think about AA, and I'm just unwilling to believe that even LG would go for that. As much as I'd love it, and oh, how i'd love it, I just can't see it happening.

I truly believe in the whole both girls or no show thing.

I don't know. I'd just feel so guilty. I'd feel like LL fans drove Alexis out of the show or something. Even though I know that's not the case.

Regardless, marraige/baby talk makes me BEYOND HAPPY. DO YOU ALL KNOW HOW BADLY I WANT A WEDDING EPISODE? I DON'T THINK YOU DO!!!!!

Maybe they can also change the title to Gilmore-Danes. Ahem. I kid. We need Rory.

It COULD work. I'd watch it. Heck I watched S6 the destruction of my favorite couple, and then this season of mostly disappointments (except for this episode)... so I'd definately watch S8 and I'd miss GG, but as long as they kept up with it. and had her come by SOMEWHAT freqently...

I'm not sure how I feel about this. Do I even want to know what kind of horrible drama DR would put L/L through as a married couple? Plus, I think it would be boring if the WHOLE show focused on L/L. JMO

Lots and Lots of the green stuff!

I don't know what to think, is DSR trying to make up for the last 10 eps?

Oh I can't wait to see the episode. I knew we could count on Rebecca

Ausiello is up:

Quote:
Question: You've been stingy with Gilmore Girls scoop lately. Tell the truth: Is it because you got in trouble after Whispergate?— Christina
Ausiello: Me? In trouble? Pshaw. Next to Isaiah Washington's Golden Globes meltdown, Whispergate was the best thing to happen to my career. I thank the gods every day for giving me the gift of Whispergate. Heck, if it wasn't for all the increased visibility that Whispergate brought me, a heavily imbedded Gilmore Girls source probably wouldn't have come up to me at press tour and revealed that (Massive spoiler alert) David Rosenthal is seriously considering ending the season (or series?) with Lorelai and Luke not only married but expecting a baby. Which leads me to my next piece of scoop….

Question: Great job at the Globes, but you've been very negligent with Gilmore Girls recently. Please give us some more scoop that doesn't involve the death of a pet!— Grace
Ausiello: Fair enough. The buzz in Stars Hollow is that the key to an eighth season may rest in Alexis Bledel's petite hands. Unlike Lauren Graham, who appears to be somewhat amenable to the idea of continuing on for another year, Bledel is proving a tougher sell. As a result, Warner Bros. and the CW are allegedly developing a Plan B that would focus an eighth season on Lorelai, Luke and their new baby, with the occasional sweeps-month guest appearance by Rory. Wow, that sounds like a disaster.

Question: Do you know how Gilmore Girls plans to deal with Melissa McCarthy's pregnancy?— Katherine
Ausiello: Scoop! They're dealing with it by making Sookie pregnant for a third time. Not sure how Dave R. is gonna pull that one off, considering Jackson had that vasectomy and all. Maybe Taylor's the daddy? I kid. I kid.

Question: Any news about Milo and Alexis getting back together?— Esther Ortiz
Ausiello: Clearly, someone didn't watch my red-carpet interview with Milo. (On the off chance your computer lacks video capabilities, Milo confirmed that they are not back together.)

Question: Any scoop for Rory and Logan?— Mel K.
Ausiello: Yeah, but it might make you ill. Matt Czuchry thinks Rory and Logan should eventually (yikes!) go their separate ways. "I would love to see Rory single at the end. I just feel like that's the way the show began, with the mother-daughter relationship. It's kind of like Sex and the City with Sarah Jessica Parker and the big question of, 'What is she going to do at the end?' I thought she should have been by herself, because that was the whole through-line of the show. The most important thing for me is that Rory and Lorelai are there together at the end. It should be about the Gilmore girls and them going forward." You know what? As much as I love Logan and Rory, I kinda agree with him.
