For those of you who keep up with such (and because I'm afraid to post on the main thread), I thought I'd post this here - this was in today's USA Today on the TV Listing page (by Bianco):

"Those crazy kids over at Gilmore Girls (CW, 8 ET/PT) are celebrating a late Christmas, having held the holiday for Rory's return. And speaking of "crazy," don't get too revved up just yet over those hints the network might try to reanimate this corpse for another year. When it comes to TV, a lot of things might happen. That doesn't mean they all will, and most don't."

God bless him - he's even more bitter than many of us are about the storyline. Do you think he knows something? Or has he just lost all hope.

So if Luke realizes he is good enough for Lorelai, could that be the reason for the hospital trip he so wants her back

Maybe he won't pine but will go after what HE wants when the marriage fails?

Thank you so much for sharing that. This must be some letter to encourage Luke at the same time it discourages Christopher. Rebecca Rand Kirschner writes the letter episode, right?

I think through the letter DR wants to show that Luke still cares and loves Lorelai, so there is no doubt to the audience if he has forgiven her. So one hassle out of the way. All that's left is to say buh bye to dopey and Lorelai to realize that Luke is the one.

I'm so happy with this spoiler

RRK writes the episode when Lorelai writes the letter. But ep. 12, when Chris reads and Luke hears the letter is written by the same guy that wrote ep. 7.07.
