I agree. But I think the ep is planned out really well. Some time for Lorelai/Rory/Emily, then Logan shows up, good RL stuff, and good Lorelai/Emily stuff. then Luke shows up, good LL stuff, good family stuff too. Then Chris shows up (probably either during good a good LL scene or a good scene with the three Gilmore Girls and the 'ones'). I think even if Luke runs off for awhile, we'll still get good LL stuff, and hopefully a scene with Luke and Rory thrown in there.

i'm actually ok with that, because it takes away any possibility that Luke being there is anything less than innocent, friendly support. If he spends too much time with just Lorelai, it gives Christopher more of an actual reason to be upset, and I don't want him to have the upper hand in any way. Besides, we know that Lorelai doesn't think that he particularly loves her anymore, so if he were to spend any extended amount of time just focusing on supporting her, it would negate that fact.

It's there in ep. 12 from the tour pics on the MT. For some reason I'd always been under the impression that the first snow shows up in ep. 11, but I can't remember why I think that.

I was wondering the same thing. For some reason I am thinking next week instead of this week. Maybe they will use the warmth that the NE has felt this winter to their advantage. That's my spec

I posted something on the previous thread about the snow. Short version: I was there on what was supposed to be the last day of filming 711 and they were getting ready to get out the snow. And this was the last day before Thanksgiving break.

It certainly would be realistic if the first snowfall was tonight in SH! I would love it if it started flurriyng the moment when Lorelai mailed the letter. Or if it happens next week, when we hear the judge reading Lorelai's letter; we get three simultaneous scenes - Luke in the courtroom hearing the judge; Chris at the CS reading it and Lorelai at Sookie's looking out the window at the first snowfall.

Sigh.

OK, thanks. I knew there was a ep. 11 tour. Your report was also the one that said that they were filming in weston's, right?

I just hope they do something with the first snow. And not just have it show up between ep. 11 and 12. I guess it could just be a symbol that LL are getting better if it's just there. But I want to see Lorelai seeing the first snow.

ETA: Doesn't tonight's episode also have Gil's son?

I hope DR knows about the meaning of the snow in Lorelais life and that it always were LL anvils

Yeah, and he's gonna perform 'I wanna be sedated' (originally by the Ramones); I think they used that song on GG before, though I don't remember when.

I'm just trying to figure out how that will play into this episode. Maybe Rory goes to visit Lane while she's in SH? There's just a ton going on in the ep already. Luke/April/Diner scenes, C/L, Rory and Lorelai shopping. Lorelai writing her letter, Rory writing hers... I just hope it wasn't cut out or anything.
