I agree... it would be way too soon for there to be any kind of romantic action between those two. Chr... no I just can't type that name. (I hope soon it will be a forgotten name... mentioned only my Rory) His essence should be exercised by SH.

Frankly I don't how I feel about Luke... going back to the CS for that kind of action.

And I am semi excited to see a new episode of GG without watching it without my glasses on... no more blurry vision except the Luke's part, which was so few.

Anyone think that Christopher will be annoyed by the whole delaying of Christmas thing? Like.. it's his and Lorelai's first holidays together, but she won't celebrate with him until Rory is home? That's just another way Christopher is playing second fiddle.

"Gilmore Girls" (8 p.m., WKBD-TV, Channel 50, CW). Finally, after endless repeats we get a new episode. Rockin' around the Christmas tree in January, cockeyed newlyweds Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Christopher (David Sutcliffe) delayed the holiday hoopla till the New Year, after Rory (Alexis Bledel) returns from London. Hey, pass the eggnog!
From Bleats echo on Beale Street when 'Idol' visits Memphis

um..and the definition of cockeyed is...? drunk or askewed or something?

Thanks for the description, Craig. I'm glad to know that Chris stormed out. We weren't really sure on that before.

The TL's for ep. 12 and 13's really confusing. I'm thinking that maybe Chris storms off like mid-afternoon. This would have to be after Luke's custody thing, and Lorelai babysitting, but still early enough for Rory to be in class. Maybe Lorelai ends up spending the night at the hospital with Rory and Emily and Logan, and then Luke shows up the next day, and Chris later the next day? This is all so confusing, makes my head hurt.

I kind of do. This is Chris and Lorelai's first christmas as a married couple, and instead of starting their own traditions, Lorelai puts it on hold. It's not even like she has one celebration with just Chris and then one with Chris and the girls. I bet he'll be a little bitter, but not too upset or anything. He seems happy and oblivious (as usual) in the promo.

The reconciliation has to be at the diner this time Everything started at the Dragonfly, they made up at her house - oh just something came to my mind.

The first break up happened more or less in front of the CS when she gives him his tape back and says: It's cold. You should go. I'll be fine. That made it kind of official. The reconciliation happened at the CS.
So Partings happened in front of the diner which means they have to reconcile at the diner

Sounds about right to me.

And hey - I'm still not looking forward to this episode. But thanks, that's a nice way to look at it. Heh.

I"m getting antsy for the mall scene! And I hope that the scene with April and Luke in Luke's that was in the call sheet ends up in the ep. I love proud daddy Luke so much.

For some reason I'm really excited to see Lorelai go out and mail the letter. I'm assuming that that's what she's doing when she tells someone (Chris) that she's going out in the global promo. LG has to do something great with that scene or else there would be no reason to show her actually mailing it.

There is the scene we saw in the promo where Lorelai and Rory are talking about Lorelai not telling Chris about the letter and that stirred up a discussion about her tendency to keep secrets but what I don't recall is whether or not we know if Chris is keeping secret the fight he started and had with Luke.

I wonder if the fight will ever be mentioned again along with the vow ceremony -- or if the fight will be dropped as though it never happened.

Still can't wait to see how Chris comes across a copy of the letter - I'm guessing he's snooping - it is something I wouldn't put past him. And, even if he comes across a copy that is out in the open, reading something that isn't his bugs the heck out of me. (Privacy nut that I am.)

I am someone who just doesn't believe that because you get married you lose your privacy. So, this scene will be interesting to me.
