Hmm so I think that some quirky town event could bring LL back together romantically. I think that would be perfect... like they are friends first for 2-3-4 episodes (with conversations that explain things, maybe not specifically, but enough), then they both go to said event and all of a sudden they can't pretend anymore... and ta-da! LL back together... hmmm it's so fun to think about!!

Well they have to make the most of the court sets, so maybe we'll get Hayden v Gilmore hey thats a great ep title.

While I like this spec --because it will allow for a lot of hole-filling-- it seems very un-GG to me. Flashbacks and what not.

She is reliving the night in Paris, but this time instead of saying "say something" she yells,

You know how much i'd give for that?

I bet we're speculating a bit too much over characters that'll probably be the Gilmore's maid, and Rory and Logan at a french restaurant.

I would love to see something like that but in no way i want to see a flashback of the dinner in Paris as some suggested. That would be so cruel and useless since in Lorelai's mind they are over 2 episodes back.

But as everyone said it's probably for r/l anyway.

As I was reading over some of the thoughts about 7.02 part of me wanted to go back and watch it and see if there was any more that I could take from it based on some of the stuff all of you have been saying. But...I can't. I read the transcript. That was a first step. I don't know if I'm the only one who feels this way, but that last scene just still breaks my heart. I can't watch it again yet. Everything he says, and the look on her face...breaks my heart.

Since this SL was planned from the start IMO if they wanted a flash back it would have been shot during FT and just used the same cast and did a few more ALT takes. But I agree if they did a reveres of Say Something and had Lorelai say NO then maybe they would need the cast back or more cast. But if they wanted the cast back then they would be called.

IMO it will be a new dinner but we have know idea who or what about, may money is on Rory & Logan, I very much doubt Lorelai would be going out to a romantic restaurant after dumping Chris or to dump him.

And what point would there be to have Emily & Richard having a romantic dinner at a place where 'cause of his medical problems he probably can't eat the food anyway.

WAY too soon for Luke & Lorelai to have a dinner like that, and I doubt they'll introduce "dating Luke" again with another woman.

Unless DSR had a brain transplant I doubt Sookie and Jackson would be it, not on screen anyway. and same goes for the rest of the supporting cast.

So my money is on the young couple Logan and Rory.

At this point, I don't even want to know. I'm just happy that it ends pretty much in episode 13. As Craig, I think, said earlier, Chris was just another version of a dog... taking the place of something Lorelai needed in her life but lost. My money is on Rory and Logan having dinner at this point. Maybe another dinner with his co-workers?

I don't think they would do a flashback to one of the least favourite storylines in GG history! Especially for a sweeps episode.
