I can see Chris like glowering in the corner of the kitchen, and then after he and Sookie leave Lorelai sitting at the table like staring at the coffee, debating what to do. I bet it's gonna end up being Sookie thinking that it's no big deal because Lorelai is writing him that letter.

It really is the perfect bribe. Sookie knows Lorelai too well.

Ohh I hope there is a Luke/Sookie scene!! But even if there isn't, Luke's coffee has special powers

I want a big deal made of that. I had a feeling Sookie would bribe her with food, but dang Luke's coffee is better!! I love Sookie... she really is a voice of reason on this show. And such a good friend for Lorelai. I have faith in DSR yet...

Probably, I wouldn't count anything out yet.

ETA - maybe Sookie's been smuggling in Luke's coffee for a while with out her knowing LOL

It's just a shame when you look back they go on about the coffee but this season it's been played WAY down and not normal for Lorelai.

Luke's coffee. No wonder the spoiler we got said that Sookie BRIBED Lorelai. One hell of a bribe.

ITA. I know some have said that perhaps she went back to the diner based on the way that LL acted in 7.08, but I was always a firm believer that she didn't and won't until we see it on screen (I hope!).

As for the coffee, I'm hoping/thinking that she will drink it. IMO, if she tried to pour it out to prove something to herself or Christopher it would really just prove that she's not over everything that happened/Luke. Christopher would probably take it that way, IMO.

...Although, maybe that could happen and just be another thing for Chris to be angry at?
