I wonder if at the end of 7.12 we get a Teach Me Tonight in reverse. Lorelai fights with Christopher over Luke/letter, Christopher storms out, and Lorelai gets the news about Richard. She breaks down in tears and calls Luke. And the episode ends with Lorelai on the phone saying "Luke...." 7.13 starts with Luke coming to get Lorelai and them driving to the hospital.

Maybe Lorelai only wants to have Martha as com-any for Gigi and doesnt think she can cope with 3 kids that's why she has to be bribed into having him too

I like that spec, Mots. I laugh at the concept of Sookie and Jackson skiing

I'm not thinking the bribing part will be that big of a deal, maybe Lorelai just had other plans, possibly something with Rory? I also like the spec about going to Luke's court hearing. Knowing Sookie, she'll probably bate Lorelai with food. Hmm so many questions, so many possibilities. MA better have something juicy to say tonight

That is my favorite spec thus far! The only thing is that it has Lorelai going straight to Luke, when it seems slightly more logical that she would happen to run into him (or he'd be the only one around to help her), and then realizes how easy it is to turn to him. Make sense?

I totally forgot about MA tonight! Hope it's good...I'm getting really nervous now that episode 13 is drawing closer and closer.

I'll in love with this SPEC, can I marry it! But like Tara Ashley said have Lorelai go strait to the diner.

OT - why do they have to play the Dixie Chicks "Not Ready to Make Nice" it makes me think of Luke at the start of the season in the street fight, BTW great song!

And yes...what about Martha? Does she no longer exist? Or does Sookie think Lorelai can only handle one kid at a time? Eh, who am I kidding, I don't really care why Lorelai is babysitting Davey. I just want to see what happens with L/L, lol.

I still think Sookie has something up her sleeve. What if she asks April to watch Martha for the same night? (Does anyone know if VM is in 7.12?) Luke would drop April off and run into Lorelai and......

Ahh...nice. Even though it probably won't happen, I'd really like it if Sookie comes up with all this elaborate stuff she will cook/do for Lorelai if only she'll help her out - but then Lorelai agrees right away to get away from Christopher and the growing tension there.

So why didn't she just order some food (or a care package) and have Luke deliver it to her house knowing she would not be there, setting Lorelai up to see Luke!

Not to soapy considering some of the SLs lately!

Maybe Jackson just sprang the skiiing trip on Sookie and she comes over the very morning they are going skiing. She expects Lorelai to be busy with whatever so comes over and starts out bribing. I think that was suggested earlier this morning by someone. But it makes sense.

But I do think that at the end of the episode Lorelai and Christopher are going to be fighting about Luke and then Christopher will leave. And when Lorelai needs support when she gets the call about Richard, the first person who comes to mind is Luke because that's who she's been thinking about. Plus she is mad at Christopher for being a stupid, jealous sulk.

But Chris has always been stupid at one time or another, is that part of the realization or that she doesn't want kids with him after seeing Sookie and Davey.

We're sounding a bit like Lorelai in the "perfect date" in ep 4 trying to work out what is going on in Lorelai's mind LOL

Maybe the realization is she doesn't need the WHOLE PACKAGE so she'll be better off with the man she loves then trying to making work with the man she married!
