With all that has happened and the "lost" 6 months I tend to agree with caf that things are never gonna be the same as far as diner banter goes, that probably changed the moment they kissed in R&R, but I want something back, It will be awkward and weird for a while but give some time and if they work together on April and stuff it will get better.

Who thinks for a while it could be only Luke who supports Lorelai's divorce 100%, I know Rory will support her mother also but what about Emily, Richard, Sookie how long will they take to get on board?

I'm thinking from 13 Luke might be Lorelai's only support team for a while, maybe he finds out before anyone else?

Throwing my own crazy wishful thinking in, she wouldn't want to go to sookie (too much, "I told you so"), not Rory because Rory'll proabably be mad at her... not emily, not nosey babette. So she goes to the diner, and "I just didn't want to be alone" and Luke actually just gives her coffee and talks to her. Could you imagine? Being the total opposite of Chris and being exactly what Chris should have been in 6.22? so that's my crazy, never going to happen, sappy spec of the day.

Well, I'm sure if we get LL in the diner again, it won't all be like, "we need to figure out our communication... NOW!" They'll joke, banter, he'll pour her her coffee, etc. But during those same times, they'll slowly have to start acknowledging what happened. What went wrong. They'll probably open up about April or Chris or eachother. They'll get there eventually. But even if they're not at ease or anything, Lorelai will probably try to lighten the mood with a joke, and then the pained banter would follow. It might not be ideal, but it's something, and II'd take anything.
