I'm wondering when they get closer who will make the first most this time, Luke did in R&R and then in S..GT so since we almost all agree it's Lorelai's turn to show Luke she still loves Luke will she make the first move to kiss him, and when. I'm still shooting for ep 150 (7.19) this way if it happens before then I'm happy, but if it comes later I'll be pissed.

I'm not so sure about it but I think the move will come from both. They will share a moment and maybe they'll kiss or are very close to kiss but Luke will say: Stop. Wait. We can't do it. I can't do it.
Lorelai has to prove to him that he is her everything. That she loves him and only him. That she wants to be with him 100% - all or nothing baby. That will be her job. To convince Luke that she is still worth it. He still loves her no doubt about that but how will she prove to him that she serious this time, stay with him because she loves him and can't live without him and not because dopey turned out to be the idiot he always was.

I agree with capp that the move will come from both. First Lorelai will prove that HE is the one she loves and she is not settling because dopey was the idiot once again. How? Maybe DR will surprise us with a nice monologue from Lorelai recognizing her mistakes.

I agree Cappuccino but Luke needs to let Lorelai know he still loves her, maybe through some actions or a 3rd party see something like they have in the past. 'Cause right now in Lorelai's mind he is over her, maybe moved on.

They haven't talked yet but when that comes things will change. This is yet another reason I hated how C&L hooked up, she was 24/7 with Chris and had no one to compare him too, this may happen in the next 3 eps.

ETA - vaso well I just think ep 150 has a nice sound to it, ep 134 would have been much better but that's gone!

My imagination regarding a LL reunion is limited at the moment. I'll probably enjoy anything they decide to show us, but I'll find it very hard to shake off the bitterness of all the time lost on that Chris journey.

And it's possible that it's Lorelai's birthday this year again. In season 3 her birthday fell in ep18- what's one episode right

I think they will both know how they feel for each other but it's just too early for both of them. Especially for Luke. I mean she married Chris and that is a huge kick for Luke and she can't just say: Yeah well you said I belong to someone like Chris and not to someone like you. I tried it and failed because I always belonged to you.
That's not doing it. There has to be more. I think they will bond over April and the custody case. That's THE thing in Luke's life at the moment and he has to put everything he has into that fight. The laywer said it would be expensive and hard and he'll probably lose. I just hope Luke doesn't lose everything you know sell the diner or something because he doesn't have enough money.

ITA that Luke will take a while to get over the "Chris" fact but thinking of April and him wanting Lorelai again, he'll get past it, with Lorelai's help and if they can bring back in the $30k to help pay for the lawyer that would be good.

I can see them going down this route where Lorelai helps Luke on all fronts regarding April: the character reference letter, testifying if needed, repaying or lending him money, helping him look for a house (if it's needed to show better suited accomodation for April), emotional backing and support, helping hand at the diner, helping him choose what to wear to court to make a good impression

I'm still with Capp on the LL/first snow thing. There has to be a reason it wasn't in the x-mas ep. Snow's so important to this show, and for it to show up late has to be done for a reason.

If LL meet to talk about the letter, like he doesn't ask for it at the store, maybe it's at Weston's? what ep was the weston's filming for? ep. 11 or 12. I've always considered Weston's lorelai's, "I miss Luke's" place, so it would make sense for that to be the first step in getting back into Luke's.

And I really think the first time she goes into the diner will be the first time since partings. It might not be made into a big deal, but DR and Co. aren't stupid enough to keep out diner scenes with Lorelai unless it's because when she finally does go in it's the first HUGE step for LL.
