Under ASP it would have been, but DR and co. are much faster at getting out scripts so they probably just have ep. 14 already written and complete.

It makes me kind of happy, they're moving forward I guess instead of having another month or so to decide what to do and really change things.

I've watched that scene time and time again and talked about it in the Neshbe thread...it's my favourite C/L scene of all time, (well, at the moment, that is) including watching them fighting, or kissing, or whatever they used to do in the past. Weird.

But it always comes after the L/L/Doula scene, so I have no choice but to watch both of them.

As much as I'm breathing a huge sigh of relief, I'm still scratching my head how DR's going to plausibly get L/L back together. Of course, the show hasn't been plausible all season so why should that change?

God, I hope Lorelai has to suffer through not knowing if Luke will take her back. Both she and Rory get men WAY too easily. Why are they always the ones being fought over? I actually though Luke and Anna would hook up and drive Lorelai crazy but that's obviously not going to happen.

Luke has had to suffer enough. Let Lorelai suffer the consequences of her actions for a while. And when she has done some serious contemplation, starts acting rationally as well as putting others before herself, then we'll talk L/L reunion.

As for people speccing immediate pregnancy, I can't see it unless there's angst involved somehow (Luke leaves for NM, she finds out after he leaves) or if this May is the series finale.

I think the introduction of Lorelai's second child should be the end of the story. This series is about a single mother. Husband and baby should be the reward she gets at the end. Otherwise, how do they end the series?

And lastly, as much as we all love GG, it can't go on forever. I seriously can't see how DR can extend this story any further without it getting lame. Personally, I'd rather it they end on a high note now than sink further into the mediocre abyss for years to come. The only thing that would change my mind is if Amy comes back. And I think we've got a snowball's chance in hell of that happening.

i think we all need to forget about plausability and just enjoy the squee fast that is to come...

sometimes you just got to enjoy the pretty and forget about all the rest of that crud
