I can picture it... It's just so hard to see how it's plausable and everything.

and why watch? because it's been my favorite show for more than 6 years now and I just can't give up on it. But they're just making it so hard sometimes to stick with it and to keep on staying hopeful for LL. I am hopeful in general, but it's just getting harder and harder to stay that way.

As for Kirk's chest, I'm predicting a Kirk/Lulu wedding this season, complete with him running around town (shirtless

) expressing his happiness to the town. At least then maybe we could swing an LL dance scene out of the whole thing?

We don't even KNOW that the "tweaks" are bad news. For all we know, MA is pulling "Whispergate" Redux.

Ha. No. Actually my optimism is probably coming from the fact that my brother and sister in law had a baby two weeks ago, my sister and brother in law had a baby this past Tuesday, and my OTHER sister called last night and said she and her husband are expecting in June. Not to mention that my best friend is due in July, lol. There is just so much happy in the air that I don't want to ruin it. And certainly not by some stupid LC spoiler.. or not spoiler as it is at the moment. There's been too much negativity around here. Time to start thinking positively.

Don't mind me. I'm a tad sappy today, lol.

to be fair actually, now that I've listened again, it sounds like MA is out of the loop at this point, and theres a chance he's just bitter, or indifferent. I think my initial upset was how the other guy on the podcast felt bad for Christopher, and seems to make a lot of comments about LC without seeming to know what he's talking about.

i do think LL are still endgame, that all this fighting and Chris essentially saying she's spoiled and always gets what she wants is gonna make her realize the mistakes she made with Luke. It's just how looooooooooooong this whole 'growing' thing is taking that's driving me nuts.

Actually, I can probably come up with about 5 negative outcomes without even trying.

But don't worry I'm not going to share cause there's just no need to add further pessimism today. I agree about not thinking negatively for the moment. I'm not going to be the cheerleader for positive thinking but I'm going to suspend judgement until we get more info. I'm no longer thinking that L/C will be over in 7.13, but surely some sort of forward motion has to happen and in the direction of L/L rather than L/C for these reasons:

- Why bother having L/L interact this way with sweet moments and issues that make Chris jealous if L/C was the end game?
- Why marry L/C if they're the end game. We all know the writers think that marriage is the most boring, non-drama filled thing in the world so they're going to end sooner or later
- Unless they're planning to win the award for most hurt inflicted on a fictional character, why have Luke still care about Lorelai? If they were planning on L/C as end-game, wouldn't they make Luke move on - make him date nice, sane women and just make L/L as friends?
- 7.13 is the first ep of sweeps. So something big has to happen in 7.13 to draw people in for the rest of sweeps. L/C are in trouble in 7.12. What happens then if the story line is changed and Lorelai has no epiphany? She hangs off her darling Christopher's arm and Chris is super supportive with Richard's illness? Big deal that's not exactly a big event (we've already spent Nov sweeps seeing Lorelai all over Chris) and it's no ratings winner. Where's the progress? Why would viewers want to come back to see yet more of the sickening L/C lovefest? L/C have a fight and then everything's magically resolved? That sounds like the theme for eps 7.10, 7.11, 7,12. Something has to happen and since L/C are already married, Lorelai says she loves him and claims to be happy it can't be something good for L/C. Ergo it has to be something bad.

Even though I wouldn’t like it, I could DEAL with L/C a little while longer IF L/L interactions continue to increase.

naw... because it's just being followed by CL trying hard still in ep. 11. But it is something to look forward to, too. But it's not all positive.

I could deal as long as there was some sign that the end was nigh. I've thought for a while that L/C couldn't possibly be over completely in 7.13. I really think DS will be there for a couple more eps in Feb sweeps. I think/hope 7.13 will still be Lorelai realizing a few things, but maybe not to the point of dumping Chris and declaring that she loves Luke. Surely she has to try to make the best of things with regards to Chris for a while. I mean she married him..is she just going to say "oops, sorry. I know I said I loved you 10000 times, but I didn't mean it. Now go away so I can run back to Luke." There has to be a period of Lorelai trying to make things work, or trying to extricate herself from Chris while DS is still there. Not my first choice of story, by a long stretch, but it does make sense.

ETA. And only if the L/L interactions last more than three seconds. There'd better be at least one L/L scene per ep from here on out, cause it's getting ridiculous.

IMO "cause MA said change and then tweak he was clarifying his comments change = tweak but a tweak is a small change, makes me feel better to think of it that way.

ETA - plus MA never said anything about C&L NOT now being over by the end of Feb Sweeps,
